Shyvana needs a Rework and Visual Update

ebildebl··12 votes·2,854 views

Shyvana is a pretty old champ and is relatively clunky and low interaction by current standards.

Given her lore, I see a pretty obvious next step in her character development that gives a pretty good place for a rework.

Shyvana's current lore says that she lost herself to rage because she never had a home and life was a constant battle. Given that Shyvana now has a place in Demacia it would make sense for her to have gained control of her draconic heritage. Shyvana's lore also states that she strives to repay Jarvan IV's kindness with the power of the dragon within and that she is part of the elite guard. This should be reflected as least slightly in her kit, lore, and visuals.

Here is my proposed the rework and VU:

Visual: Human Form - take the weird tail thing sticking out of the back of her head and replace it with somewhat shorter flame red hair to show that she can control her form and be more human. Should also have Demacian Armor(Scale Armor?) to reflect her position as part of the guard. I think she should keep her old helmet and gauntlets because they are part of her identity and to some extent heritage. Dragon Form - Especial with the stuff that has been done on Aurelian Sol, I know that you guys at Riot can make a good looking dragon. Given that, Shyvana's Dragon form needs to be updated to look like an actual dragon, since the season 5 dragon model is being retired a slightly scaled down and recolored verson would work perfectly. On live it just looks pathetic and is actually a wyvern.

Base Stats: Basically, just the Armor and MR up because they would no longer be in her passive. Also makes her power curve a bit smoother. Armor: 32.628 (+4.25 per level) Magic Resist: 37 (+2 per level) Fury: 100

Kit:

Passive: Dragonborn (Old) - her current passive is just stats which can be easily moved to her base stats and her ultimate. Embers (New) - In Human Form Build 7 rage per second when in combat Rage decays by 5 per second when out of combat. Gain 5% of Damage taken by nearby Allies from enemy champions as Fury In Dragon Form, Gain 3% of damage dealt as fury Apply Embers for 3 seconds to enemies as a spell effect. Embers deals 5-25 damage per second based on level and affected enemies take 1% (+1% per 50 Fury) of their max health from Shvyana on hit.

Q: Human and Dragon form share cooldown. Twin Bite (Old) - keep this in human form. It's a pretty fair ability and is part of what makes Shyvana an on hit bruiser champ. Slash (New) - In Dragon Form, Twin bite is replaced with Slash, targeted AOE version of twin bite. It would still apply on-hit effects twice but would be a much clearer and more versatile implementation of the pre-existing cleave mechanic. keeps on hit CDR in both forms.

W: Human and Dragon form share Burnout - Burnout is really what defines Shyvana besides her lackluster Dragon Form. The only changes I would make would be to lower the damage by 5 per rank to account for the extra DoT damage from Embers, and that It would also no longer leave the fire trail behind her in dragon form. the fire trail is not the most noticeable mechanic, prevents the addition of as much power elsewhere in her kit, and how does turning tail fit working fit with a half dragon?

E: Human and Dragon Form do not share cooldown Flame Breath (Old) - I moved the embers effect to her passive and replaced the skill

Rally/Pyroclastic Bolt (New) - Rally (Human Form) 20 second CD - Shyvana and all nearby allies gain 10/15/20/25/30 movement speed towards visible enemy champions (Vayne passive) and a 40/80/120/160/200 health shield for 5 seconds Rally is supposed to reflect her position in the Demacian elite guard.

Pyroclastic Bolt (Dragon Form) 6/5/4/3/2 second CD - 200 range line skill shot, increasing by up to 500 as you channel for up to 1 second. Collides with the first enemy hit dealing 90/95/100/105/110% Total AD magic damage in a 200 radius when it collides with an enemy or reaches the end of its range. (Mega Gnar Boulder/Varus & Xerath Q) Pyroclastic Bolt is meant to make her Dragon Form feel more like a dragon, you should be able to really breathe Fire.

R: Dragons Decent (Old) - You Can NOT give a DRAGON flight, albeit a short one, and make it interruptible! Because her dragon form has to deliver as really powerful and cool it makes sense that the dash is not the main component and making it uninterruptible would be OP, but then she shouldn't have one. It's better not to have the dash then to have the clunky interruptable on a DRAGON!! this piece of design has always struck me as kind of dumb.

Form Switch (New) 4 second CD - Toggle like most other form switch champions, does not start with a point at level 1. Health % remains the same when switching forms.

Dragon Form: Passive - Max fury (not current) is increased by 50/100/150. Max health is increased by 150/300/450. Size is increased by 60/100/140. Drain 4/6/8 fury per second, Shyvana reverts to human form and is slowed by 20% for 2 seconds when she runs out of Fury. Frenzy - when Shyvana reaches full fury she frenzies until she retuns to human form. While frenzied, fury drain is doubled, she can't recast R to return to human form, and gains 20/30/40% Bonus Attack Speed, and 10/15/20% Lifesteal and Tenacity.

Active - Knock back all enemies within a 100 unit radius.

If you don't like it or think it needs work please tell me why and what is good if any.

November 12th - Turns out riot is using some of these Ideas, if anything they could at least have used the charging for range mecanic on the Dragonform E. otherwise its pretty cool to see them responding to what people say, though I have no Idea where they got the Idea for that new passive (revenge on dragonkind? which i believe she already satisfyed). I still think she needs a visual rework and some character progression at this point but I doubt anyone wants to change so drasticaly from her current form.

Just feel compelled to point out that wyverns are dragons. Just as drakes, lungs, and lindwyrms are also dragons. If it's a mythological chimeric reptile thing, then it can probably be classified as a dragon. The idea that wyverns aren't dragons comes from D&D, and D&D is hardly an authority on mythology.

There's nothing wrong with Shy's dragon form being patterned off a wyvern. That might have been what her father looked like, too.

ebildebl1 votes

I never thought of that. I just assumed that her father was more of a traditional western dragon because that is what the one on the rift looks like. I figured that those were the standard Valoran Dragons. It also seemed like she was not quite a fully fledged dragon in dragon form because she is not quite a real human it human form.

Also, nice catch, I do play D&D 4e.

I'm not sure Shyvana needs a full rework. Maybe a few tweaks to her spells, but overall she does function rather well. The only thing I have ever asked for her is for her Ultimate to be Unstoppable. PLZ RIOT! PLEASE!!

EDIT: Passive - Taking another look at the Rework, I think the DoT is not really needed on her kit. The %HP on hit per fury is plenty and more effectively ties into her lore of using her rage to empower her combat skills.

Q - Nothing to comment, its the same

W - Not sure what I feel about an AP scaling, though I don't see it being bad. It would make RageBlade an actually good item on Shyvana and like you said allows for more viable builds. Also I am curious why you want to remove the Flame Trail? I have gotten a few kills because people think its a good idea to chase Dragon Shyvana

E - Yes and Yes, being able to stick to your target as a human would be nice. And then the dragon form version is a nice trade-off allowing Shyvana to get an actual fireball once again fitting her thematic better.

R - Dragon Form Toggle?! I didn't even know I wanted this. The slowing when Shyv runs out of Fury is nice, but there should also be a Fury cost for toggling back to human so that Shyvana can't just revert back at 1 Fury to avoid the slow. Speaking of, it gives a downside to Shyvana's window od power of her dragon form and punishes her for not managing dragon form properly. However, I'm not as sure about the active knock-back projectile effect.

ebildebl1 votes

There is a good reason her ult is not unstoppable. It gives her a lot of power besides the dash, so it's not balanced to make the dash that good, it's just supposed to be Icing on the cake. The champs with Unstoppable Dashes (Nocturn, Vi, Malphite...) all have it because their ults would be completely cancelable with just a basic ability, which isn't fair to the people playing them and would make them nonexistent past a certain Elo. Shyvana doesn't need the unstopable to still have teh 4th ability so she doesn't have it.

The DoT on the passive was mostly because it sets them on fire and a burning enemy should be taking a DoT for it.

Removing the Trail on W was so that it was fair to add the AP ratio and add power in other places.

The knockback and projectile block effects were so that she has outplay potential on it and I thought it fit with suddenly becoming a giant dragon. I think the skill interaction of being able to switch at the exact right moment seems like a cool element for good players.

Raiku Kawisa1 votes

I understand WHY its not stoppable, but doesn't stop me from wishing for it :(

And again, I really like the idea of being able to toggle dragon form. I'm just saying it needs a Dragon -> Human cost to make sure people can't Dragon Ult, toggle human, punch something twice and then dragon again.

ebildebl1 votes

the toggle is on a 4-second cooldown so you have to wait a bit between casts. The ult would also no longer have the dash so the mobility thing is not an issue. Another thing is that because when you switch forms your Max health changes but the percentage you have stays the same, your current health goes down when you switch back to human form so the sustain thing is not an Issue either. just in case you were worried. And on top of it if you had managed to get more than 100 fury while in dragon form, switching back to human form kills all the extra fury and therefore damage. there are definitely tradeoffs, you don't even reset CDs on anything by the E because they are two diffrent abilitys and the cooldown on the human form one is long enough that constant switching is not optimal anyway.

I took the dash out of the Ult becasue I thought it was better than having a dash that was interuptable on a F***ING Dragon!!

As a Shyvana main, I don't think she really needs a rework but maybe a visual update would be nice, especially on her base skin(which btw that tail is actually her hair) just so it matches the new splash for her better. Dragon form would have to look the same just because shes half dragon and not full dragon to which that might be the reason for why she looks like a wyvern.

Now my thoughts on the actual changes:

Passive - Adding the armor and magic resist to her base sounds good but overall is would just mean that AR and MR runes would just increase that more in the early game. The decaying fury i'm not really a fan of just because it feels too identical for most of the fury based champs. I'm fine with just having it build up. The % health damage I feel is great for someone like her but the DoT feels tacked on a bit. I would even suggest that she has some sort of health regen per lvl just to try and have her come back to top lane for at least having some sort of sustain in lane. Just one of my thoughts though.

Q - No comments on this except that I approve. Next.

W - I wouldn't say make it completely based off of AP is a good idea. It just would feel like the Q would be the only thing that would have any AD ratio in her kit and she mostly is a attack speed melee fighter(to which most of them build physical damage) but as of 5/9 on the PBE they are possibly adding a AP ratio along with the AD ratio. If it stays that could work for your idea in a way. Even push for more of a hybrid build on her.

E - Human form is a neat idea and has good utility for her team but she already gets a good burst of MS from Burnout and I don't think giving her more is going to solve one of the few problems she has: Zero Crowd Control. Not to say that I like the idea based on her being in the guard but she needs something like a slow or an exhaust. Just something to give her a little more to catch opponents then just running at them for how ever long, before being rooted, slowed, or stunned and have them get away. At the same time not make her so item reliant. The dragon version seems fine to me but a 2 second CD at max seems a bit too much, especially when it's like a Mega Gnar Q.

Ult - YES! Absolutely agree that it should be Unstoppable! It's always pained me to ult in a team fight or away from the whole enemy team just to get stunned and then focused or get grabbed by Blitz back into the fire of Hell. Having it be a toggled ability doesn't feel right gameplay and lore wise. Lore wise in the sense that she can't really control her form at will like Nidalee (see here and go down to Relations:http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Shyvana/SkinsTrivia) and gameplay wise just because when you ult that usually means your going all in, much like how Renekton and Gnar work in a way, or have a convenient escape and not have to use flash. The slow just seems really odd to add in to try and make it feel like it has balance and the block all projectiles is the same as well. The extra health would be a nice add on though, considering your turning into a giant, flying, fire-breathing, lizard of death.

Some good ideas overall that I agree with and wish in the future, but needs some work. Keep it up. [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

ebildebl1 votes

thx. I didn't Mean to remove the AD ration on her W. just add an AP one.

also, I know Shyvana pretty well, I'm a lore junkie and have a massive Shyvana guide. It's called "the draconomicon" on Mobafire.

The reason I changed the dragon form entirely was because there are good balance reasons for her not to have an unstoppable dash. all the ults with unstoppable dashes have that because they would be completely canceled out by a basic ability. Shyvana Can't have that because her Ult's Dash is really just Icing on the cake, not the point of her ult.

The dragon form E idea was meant to be so that she had a ranged Auto Attack effectively but it doesn't apply on hits affects so it's not nearly as powerful as her regular autos because of that and that it doesn't give the bonuses on her Q or W. it probably needs the ration toned down though. I was also thinking of making it charge up to get the range like Xerath or Varus Q. (Just put it in)

The thing about making things controllable(toggle ult) and her rage decay were that she would have learned how to control herself once she had a home and had satisfied her revenge. I guess i thought she would no longer be consumed by her rage. It also ended up being a cool way to make her power ramp up in combat so she could be scarier without giving her more burst.

The other thing about the Ult saying you are going all in never really made sense, It's only good in teamfights, not 1v1s and the fact that it was for all in diving never seemed a core part of her character like her W that it made her a dragon. It would still be for all ins and teamfights though, it would just have a bit more versatility. And on the Flash issue, it meant that she didn't really give up anything significant for not taking flash, basicaly every other champ in the game gives up something for not taking flash or ghost, shyvana should too from a balance standpoint.

I have a feeling that the Ult, E and Passive changes would help her a lot in top lane, she would probably still be better as a jungler though. the fact that she would be able to use the extra health and sort of parting shot E with dragon form for every trade would make her come out ahead. the fury would also likely be at full the whole lane instead of resetting like with a gank out of the jungle. I think she could do both top and jungle will with an update like this withought making her better against the sort of poke teams/champs that are soposed to counter her by giving health regen.

As for being CC chained to death, champs like Shyvana or Uder are meant to be countered by that, the only fair thing would be to put tenacity based on rage in her passive, even that is pushing it. And the thing about needing exhaust or Items to stick to people is for the same reason, the proposed E actually makes a big diffrence with that becasue it means that her engage helps her team follow up instead of just putting her too far out to be helped.

Sorry for the whole game design balance rant. :)

My revisions/changes

Passive: Molten Touch - Basic attacks against enemy units deals 1/2/3/4% (based on level of Ultimate) of the enemy's max HP in magic damage

Q: Twin Bite- Same as current

W: Burnout/Dragon's Rush - Burnout works the same in live except for the dragon form -> Expend 10 Fury to leap 850 units in the target direction (can hop over walls) before applying the effects of burnout

E: Flame Breath - Shoots a ball of fire travelling trough all units hit. While within 1000 units of a marked target shyvana gains 20/25/30/35/40% bonus movement speed towards marked units and 20/25/30/35/40% bonus Attack speed (this bonus is doubled while in Dragon form)

R: Passive - gain 1/2/3% damage reduction-- doubled while in dragon form Dragons Decent -- Same as current but is unstoppable

Raiku Kawisa1 votes

W - Not quite maybe once per Dragon Form. But giving Shyvana a constant gapcloser would make her extremely powerful. It does cost Fury, sure, but with how much Fury she can generate that cost means even less than Energy does.

E - If you are going to make the mark mega-powerful. It needs to be single target. 80% Movespeed and Attackspeed towards the marked target/targets is godlike. That is fine, but only if it is single target.

R - I'm not quite sure how effective the Dmg Reduction would be. It would help for sure, but I think she could use a more offensive ability. But yes, GIVE THE ULT UNSTOPPABLE!

Hinata Rabbit1 votes

W can be mitigated by costing more fury tho it still has a 7.2s cool down at 40% max rank which is slightly longer than most gap closers on other diving fighters that don't require them to be on ultimate as well as offering some sort of cc.

E being single target or multi target is irrrelivent since I could still mark a low priority target in a teamfight and gain all the same buffs to take down a high priority target first. If anything the scaling need to be cut back

Damage reduction is more powerful than armour/ Mr at any stage of the game. Plus she doesn't need an offensive ability on ultimate since she has a %hp passive a Ms steroid / gapcloser that does on hit dot and a buff that grants her another ms steroid and an as one as well

Raiku Kawisa1 votes

I did forget to consider the CD on W which does make it more balanced. Plus that would be an excuse for the ability to not be unstoppable. (WHY IS SHYVANA'S ULT NOT UNSTOPPABLE IT DRIVES ME NUTS)

I hold my ground on the E. That shit's nuts.

And good point on the Ult. I would just have to see its effect in action.

ebildebl1 votes

Having a Fury cost on a basic ability means that she will not be able to keep up dragon form at all if you miss by even a little. The Damage reduction is actually less powerful unless you are going full tank because the percents are soo low. just makes her more of a late game champ, not that she needs it.

Raiku Kawisa1 votes

Give Shyvana enough attack speed and something that doesn't die and she can stay in dragon form forever.

ebildebl1 votes

very good point, I think that it just has too much power and more of it is more hidden and unintuitive than her current kit. I also will never understand why a fireball can pass through units, exploding on impact for an AOE makes so much more sense.

ebildebl1 votes

There is a lot of power in this kit, so much of it is hidden. The reason I felt comfortable giving Shyvana higher percent health damage is because it takes a while to stack up. Getting it at the start gives too much burst. It also has no counterplay is is just as low interaction as her current passive. Putting the dash on burnout is Overpowered especially when You are making her ult dash more powerful. Having the extra Movespeed on her E makes the overbearing mobility even worse. she will now have nearly 100% bonus move speed towards enemy champions, not balanced, and the Attack speed is just pushing the power level. The damage reduction is even more hidden than Armor and MR and less powerful until level 11

Your Idea has some serious design problems. The biggest being that she is just as much if not more of a pure stat ball and you giver her more mobility on top of It. You can't have both crazy combat power and amazing mobility. She has to be kite-able because otherwise her extraordinary power would be unbearable.

Hinata Rabbit1 votes

Tbh a 7s max cdr mini vayne passive that changes to an EXPONENTIALLY weaker channed 'single target' ability as well as a passive tthat has an arbitrary scaling on a recourse that constantly depletes isn't exactly Good game design either. Rally is completely useless in JG. You'll never hit the 4/5/6% damage on her passive since you have to be at exactly 150/200/250 fury with a 6 per second drain and trying to aid this will cause her fury gains to be so high there was no point in the drain in the first place.

As far as my idea goes. You could just as easily say " hitting an enemy with a spell applies molten touch for 7 seconds "passive effect here" and be nearly th same thing you have with less scaling and more reliability. Dash on W is not as bad as it sounds for a number of reasons. 1. Shyvana is a diver. She lacks the cc of other divers for more of a damage threat. It doesn't mean she shouldn't be able to reliably dive the back line. 2. It costs a constantly depleting resource on top of its minimum cool down of 7.2 seconds. 3 the condition that must be met is situational and not always readily available. E can be reduced to 5/10/15/20/25 x2 but I still stand by this ability. R being unstoppable is a given for her subclass. Damage reduction can be increased if it'd too weak but it's still stronger against all the true damage running around these days. She gets really tanky anyways increase it to 10/15/20 x2 if you must but I don't think it needs to be that high. It's basically a free bond of stone keystone and that is at 3 or 4% iirc

I honestly would be suprised if they gave shyvana higher mobility in the diver rework

ebildebl1 votes

I didn't know there was going to be a diver rework. I still think that it's unhealthy to give one of the Movespeed divers like Shyv, Uder, Skarner and the like a dash when they already maul you uncontrollably if they get to you. The reason they can have the power to do so much damage while still being so tanky and kill multiple people is that it requires set up to get to your enemies to do that to them. If champs like Shyvana had dashes on top of the movementspeed they already do they would loose part of their Identity/Neish as a champion and become flat out broken and nerfed to oblivion.

The Idea behind the fury generation passive on E was that it doesn't ramp up so much on lower tier jungle monsters but hits the cap easily in team fights given a little time.

The mini Vayne passive thing (rally) affects allies too, so it's not useless in the jungle, it helps you gank. It is also has a 14-second cooldown, not 7. I was thinking something more like a 3-4 second duration so it would still have 10 seconds of downtime and you want to be in dragon form for the Ranged E at the point where it would be useful or come off cooldown again, so the uptime and usability don't seem like issues to me.

The problem with Molten touch is that it is percent health damage which already isn't amazing until late game and then doesn't have a high enough percent to have any affect early what so ever. Late game, basically having an extra bloodrazor for free without any conditionals is also pretty good. My Idea of making it sort of conditional but scale well especially later was so that Shyvana could be an extremely scary dragon without being OP. You just can't make an ability as powerful if it is very reliably. Having more % health damage than current Shyvana with more uptime and still no conditions or downsides like with molten touch might seem very fun but is bad balance and terrible to play against. You also have to worry about whether or not she would end up in ban prison

Regarding the Pyroclastic Bold ability, the Idea was for it to be weaker than her autos. It is not supposed to add a ton of damage. The point of the ability was to apply her passive so she can have constant uptime on it in teamfights and to give her some options for ranged damage if she is getting kited hard but not so much that the kiting doesn't mean anything. Another thing to keep in mind is that you can still move normally while charging it. You can snap cast it at minimal range just to reapply her passive and for a little extra damage, and to charge it for the extra range to snipe fleeing enemies or damage ranged characters when you are being kited. The charge time for the extra range shouldn't be a huge problem for DPS because when you do need to charge it you aren't auto-attacking them anyway so you wouldn't be doing anything else with the time, and it makes the ability predictable with more buildup so it would end up being more fun to use and more interactive because of the delay. It could probably use a bit more damage when charged, like possibly producing the Ember's passive once it has already been applied.

My Idea for the updated dragon form I came up with was that it would be really good in teamfights but you would have to know when to use it instead of just saying, "I'm fighting so I should ult." The reason that I like having health more than damage reduction is that health is obvious and intuitive, damage reduction is just as hidden as the current resistances.

The biggest problem I can see with your Idea is that increasing Shyvana's reliability as you seek to do decreases her allowed power. Part of her Identity is that she is extremely powerful when she gets on you but is kitable. She can't have the sort of team destroying power that I think a lot of Shyvana players are drawn to her by with the increased reliability you want and still be balanced. I decided to try and emphasize her ability to singlehandedly win teamfights and take on/out two or three champs on her own while forcing it to ramp up so that it can be that powerful without letting her burst people out instantly.

The gameplay fantasy I was going for with my Proposed update was to be able to create Havoc and Chaos of truly draconic proportions just by being there and be able to kill everything in sight if left alone or treated with two little respect. On the other hand, Shyvana shouldn't be able to jump in and kill someone before the enemy team can react/kill her and still be a havoc reeking bruiser.

Hyperiön1 votes

Shyvanna doesn't need a rework, maybe just a few small tweaks to her abilities. Shyv is in a very sound spot right now, even with the removal of sated, she will still do lots of damage, and out tank a lot of people.

ebildebl1 votes

The thing is that that is the problem. She is just a ball of stats. she has very low interactions for the player, allies, and enemies.

EcchiOtakuTM1 votes

Fix the MR, all melee units have the same MR and MR per level.

ebildebl1 votes

Yes, I know the MR is wrong.

Shyvana actually already gains that much MR with her current passive, it just makes more sense to put it in the base stats so that it scales more smoothly and there is room for a more interactive and interesting passive.

Angry Dragon Boi1 votes

The ideas you have sound good, but like in the rest of the comments.

Passive - should also have like an hp regen so she can have a sustain, not so sure what's on dragon's blood, but they are beafy and resilient, and can last long in a fight.

Q - nothing to say here

W - sense shyvana is a half dragon, shouldn't she be able to atleast fly? Not saying fly for the entire duration, but at least make her feel like the dragon she is.

E - i can agree on the dragon form of the fire breath she rly needs it, her human form mmmhh, it's kinda making it like a sivir ult, unless they change sivir's ult into something more of a mercenary thing, the ally move speed seems abit of a copy, not saying it shouldn't be like that though, but make it more of a draconic warcry, all allies receive a neet bonus of attack speed and defenses (Armor and MR) or all allies deal a little burn damage like the elder dragon buff but not true damage, but magical.

R - I agree that it should be unstoppable like Forhonor321 said, its kinda annoying you jumping in and then getting pulled or stunned or what not, but again like Forhonor321 said i dont think it should be a toggle unless riot decides to change her lore saying she has control over her rage, but i have another idea for the toggle, when shyvana is still in her dragon form and reaches the fury cap, she can like go into a rage mode, kinda like how darius can gets a rage buff which he gets a big amount of AD when he gets an enemy champion with 5 stacks of hemorrhage, she can like hit harder with a burning effect because of her fyring rage.

I had other thoughts and ideas, but they ran away while i was typing this, overall i think is a good idea, still needs some work but still, she should look different, rework her so she can fit the splash art and rework the rest of the skins and their splash art and stuff like that. Again i think those are good ideas and i like your attitude of creativity, and yet again like Forhonor321 said, Keep it up!

ebildebl1 votes

thanks for the support.

For her passive maybe, rage based lifesteal could work if you want sustain because that keeps with her theme and makes it have more of a trade off than flat healing or pure regen, might need to be only in dragon form though so that she can't sustain normaly because that would remove her weekness to poke with i think is pretty important to her balance. As for making her fly, while it's really cool it kind of encroaches on champs like Aurelian and Zach who already bring really long range dashes to a bunch of roles. Im also not sure if its entirely balanced to give her flight on a basic ability because she does so much once she gets in. I didn't really want to keep it on her ult because you can't reasonably make it unstoppable when its on a form change ability

For her Human E, I wasn't really sure what would scream "Demacian Warrior Hero" her current E is kind of pointless so I wanted to make a new E that really screamed her Human Dragon Duality in a really great way. The fire breath was a no brainer like you said, but any suggestions for what the human one could be would be great. I mostly thought movement speed because it sort of said: "lead the charge" which seemed like her character and gave her something so that her ganks were less abysmal and added to her identity as an MS bruiser. If you wanted and it wasn't to OP it would probably work to change it to give a "courage" buff from what I proposed which gives the same directional MS and a small shield, not resists, though, I don't like random bonus resists because they are pretty invisible power which makes them less fun to play with and against.

As for you R idea, I was actually kind of going for her having more control as the premise for the VGU, that way you could justify accentuating the duality more instead of striking a slightly middle-ish ground with both forms and maybe giving her demacian armor in human form. About the Fury cap Idea, she currently needs full fury to activate her R, so the toggle you are suggesting is just useless. Maybe something like giving her bonus resistances and attack speed and tenacity when at full furry could be cool, that along with giving back the fury on auto attack but only in dragon form might work pretty well.

I haven't been playing her as much lately because writing this whole update Idea thing made me feel more dissapointed in what she is missing out on.
