why is Platin so freaking toxic

So I was super hyped this season to grind my ass from silver 4 to platin and after 500 games I finally did it, Now things started to get worse in Gold 1, it took me 4 promos to finally reach plat, people there got frustrated really easy (because well, everyone wanted to reach plat before season ends) and therefore it was quite understandable why things got toxic there quite frequently

But my oh my, since I got to play with low plat players in every game my league experience has drastically changed, Gold is like a sunshine farm compared to platin People in Platin act like they are fucking challengers, flaming starts in champ select, inting comes after the first death Being a Jungler in Platin is like the biggest sign of Masochism, because no matter what happens, its your fucking fault

At the Moment I feel like being in Gold is way more fun than playing through plat, what are your experiences with this elo and do you think its the most toxic one (besides bronze)

I can relate, I gave up on ranked cause I kept hitting gold 1 or close to platin, and mind you at one time i never was higher than silver back before they changed the ranking system to be silver 1-5 etc etc. The closer I got to plat the worst. and same with bottom of gold. It's horrid cause these people THINK they are good and should be higher but they aren't.

And I just realized something... Are all the boards all one now? Cause I just realized in my tired state from working third shift that people have US, EUW and etc. I never realized all the boards are combined.
