Terrible at this game help me pick a champ to learn to carry

Hello, I'm a pretty poor player at this game and Im losing interest as of late. I have had the most success in ranked playing nidalee but I feel like she's too weak really to carry without having a very high skill level. For a low level player like me she just seems very squishy and I usually end up in more of a poke/healing/kiting role which is fine but I'm looking for more of a hard carry champ to learn to main. i have 6300 ip so im looking for some suggestions as to some champs that I might main in order to carry harder out of bronze. My favorite champs right now are Vlad, nid and Maokai so maybe something somewhat similar to the feel of these champs. I should also say that I like to exclusively use smart cast so please recommend a champ that isnt hindered by this. Also I'm looking for something in the top or mid probably. A champ that can top/mid/sup is a major plus.
