Damage and Range Rework Needed?

I have been playing since S4 and one thing I hate about the current game is how damage and range are changing the way we play the game. We have all seen an adc do as much damage to a squishy as an assassin. We have seen Tanks kill squishy's like they are nothing also. My question here is should a champ with range be able to do as much damage as a melee. Currently, adcs can 2-3 shot squishy champs from a long range. Imo this is fair but 2-3 from range is better than what assassins can do currently.

My Issues with Assassins:

The issue with assassins atm is that range is too overpowering and their pushing power has been nerfed too hard. A mid lane assassin wants to push out lane and roam unless they can kill mid. Good luck pushing out a wave as zed or talon vs someone like azir or even lux (even though these assassins counter these champs). Zed needs his w to push out the waves (Which for some reason doesn't even kill caster minions anymore unless insanely fed) which has like a 20 sec cd early game. Talon needs like 2-3 ws early to push out lane, which while doing so talon has no mana left to do anything anymore.

The other issue is these burst mages who do the same amount of damage that assassins do now faster, from range and have more utility. Think syndra, viktor, cass or imo the most broken champ in the game atm Galio. These guys can also one shot an overextended or badly positioned adc faster than an assassin from range. The issue these burst mages have atm is getting into the range of an adc and not being dead since adcs can 3 shot low health enemies now and a well-positioned adc should be making sure these burst mages can't get into their range. This is where an assassin is needed to these main damage dealers. Only an assassin with their mobility can get close to the adcs and kill them to make sure their team wins the team fights.

On top of that we have tanks who can one shot adcs also if a squishy is alone without their supp. Think Mao who is tanky enough to withstand the damage from an adc and can act like a tankier assassin and kill a squishy in maybe 2-3 rotations. I mean assassins isn't even a class anymore when everyone is running around as an assassin nowadays. This is the main reasons why assassins aren't played as much anymore.

TBH I think an assassin should have the power to one shot squishys. An adc should have the power to kill tanks and squishy's but not this fast. Burst mages do damage consistently so their damage should be on the level of an assassin where in one rotation they can kill a squishy who is out of position. Tanks imo have done too much damage for a long time and should be lowered. Tanks shouldn't be able to lock a squishy in place due to the amount of cc they hold and do this much damage. Like think Galio, he is a tanky mage weird hybrid. No one in mid lane can trade with a galio imo atm. If he catches someone out of position one combo will chunk a squishy to less than 50% hp. But when the mage trades with him he will maybe lose 20-30% hp. Yes there are times when Galio can be zoned early, but even then he can just q the wave and use his utility to win the game.

We have all seen the amount of damage and adc when in late game this season. We have all also seen what happens to the same adc when a Mao jumps the adc alone. The mao should be able to kill the adc if the adc isn't positioning correctly, but should he be able to kill the adc that fast? Imo no else what is the point of an assassin.
