Imagine if you didn't get any gold for player kills?

In theory it sounds so.. GOOOD. I mean think about it. It fixes so many issues and I would die if it became a game mode just to see how games turn out. No feeders? CSing it IMPORTANT. Objectives are EVERYTHING. People Feeding can still have a chance against their lane opponent.

I feel like if gold was removed from player kills, League would become a whole new enjoyable game!

I would simply kill the enemy champion so I could push the lane.

Also that would be boring if I kill a champion, and get no incentive if I killed them.

no with on incentive to kill people poke/seige comps become predominate favoring smart objective play and rotational play rather then meaningful player to player interaction....

yeah no

Killing would still give experience, and you'd get free cs while denying your opponent some, both of which increase at higher levels with larger respawn timers. There is already a huge incentive to get your opponent out of lane without kill gold.

The only downside I see is it trivializes backing, since it would often be better to just throw yourself at an enemy or cs recklessly in the early levels with the respawn timer being lower than a recall.

it would be a different game, and kits would need to be changed to give more pushing or defensive powers, assassins would be useless (more useless) and siege and split comps would reign.

assassins would be very useless.

That's when everyone just builds item 3098 to make combat worth something. Even if you don't build ap, it's still useful, though if you're manaless/don't use ap, the efficiency is garbage.

They would still get experience points so intentional feeders would still exist.
