Urgot needs to be brought back ):

Remember that time when Urgot was played cause i don't. Anyways we don't see Urgot anymore because lets be honest his kit isn't really that great. I mean sure his E, Q combo is sometimes OP but you rarely see a Urgot that's fed. Can't forget his ult that will basically make him sacrifice himself for someone on the other team. But in all honesty Urgot is useless unless if he buys a sightstone. I'm not really a dedicated Urgot player like Emperor Imperial but i think Urgot at least deserves a small buff or at least a new skin, or maybe a rework. its time for Urgot to become OP once more as if he was in U.R.F. Urgots only moment to shine was in U.R.F and since that's gone Urgot lost his moment. Urgot+item 3070=endless misery. May our lord and savior phreak bestow tons a damage upon Urgot.

The thing is that he needs more depth in his kit with his rework. Have you realized that every new champions can do multiple things with 1 spell

For Exemple: Azir can use his E to escape or bump someone in the air Sion can use his W to absorb damage or to deal some damage (especially in the early game)

When Urgot uses a spell, you can easely predict what he'll do next. He also lacks counterplay (EQQQ doesn't have any counterplay)

I feel like he needs a rework with theses things: -More depth in his kit (multiple ways of using an ability) -More Counterplay -Kit aranged towards Fighter/Tank rather than Marksman/Tank -A way for him to not beign too oppresive in top lane (Where he belongs) -New Passive that fits in his theme -New ult (maybe) -Visual update (maybe) -BUFFS!

Thematically, Noxus doesn't, under any circumstance, need any more fighter/tanks. As it stands right now, Urgot is the ONLY Noxus marksman, and if anything, he needs to be pushed more into a marksman role and less into a tankier role. Since he is such a bland (and frankly hideous) champion, he's a pretty great building block for kit redesign. Nothing about him makes him particularly special, except for how Acid Hunter is modified depending on his other skills he's recently used, but even the effects are kind of bland; It is, however, something unique that can be run with to really carve out some interesting kit designs with Urgot. Another thing that really screws up Urgot is his deeply conflicting roles; It's rather impossible to be both a tank and a marksman as they both require dramatically different build styles as well as different ranges to engage the foe. He can't be both the ADC and the initiator, so they need to drop the parts of his kit that don't make sense. Things like Terror Capacitor are absolutely backwards, as he needs to pop his shield to modify his attacks, which in turn causes him to waste the shield so he can crowd control opponents when it is his one and only (feeble) defense measure against opponents who get too close and for defending himself when he uses his particularly idiotic ultimate. About the only thing that needs to be preserved are his Q and his passive. In terms of how he looks, I don't think they should continue with the obese spider beast abomination. I can't speak for everyone, but most people I know typically like champions that are either really fearsome monsters, strong/brave/cunning humanoids, or generally characters that are pleasing to look at. Urgot is flat out ugly. He's gross and obese, and while I can see his inspiration (Warcraft Abominations), it's a hugely off-putting element to his popularity. If I may suggest a way to re-imagine him, it would be pretty much a man in a mechanical glass coffin/stasis cell with the guns/blades and legs to allow for him to still be a viable member of the military. Think Porky in Mother 3 (or, as he appears as a boss in Smash Bros Brawl) or the recent Doctor Octopus as he appeared in his life support mech suit in Ends of the Earth. Such ways to portray a dead and dying member of the Noxian army would have some interesting appeal that a simple fat zombie doesn't really have.

I do not agree with you on the fact that Urgot should be pushed as a marksman. If we take his lore into consideration, he should be Fighter/Tank.

Urgot, once a great soldier of Noxus, may constitute a case in support of the latter. Prone to diving headlong into enemy battle lines, Urgot sowed chaos throughout the enemy ranks, often sustaining grievous injuries in the process.

It wouldn't make sense that a soldier used to be on the battlefield becomes a sniper (or anything like that). And if they change his lore for him to be a marksman, why would he be the way he is? You don't suffer from a lot of injuries when you're shooting from afar.

I agree with you when you're saying that urgot is bland and doesn't have anything really special in his kit. That's why I saied that he needs more depth in his kit.

You've mentionned that him being a marksman and a tank at the same time poses a problem for him. That's why I think that encouraging his to be a Fighter/Tank would be good, since Fighter and Tanks are rather similar.

You think that only his Passive and his Q sould be kept. While I agree for keeping the Q, I don't think that keeping thePassive is a great idea. It causes the same problem that old Sona had with her auras (invisible power). His Q is the same: You won't even realise that you have a passive, except at some rare times. I think that they absolutly need to keep his Q and his E. His EQQQ combo is his defining part of him. That would be like removing Karthus' Ult or Draven's Q or Sion's HP Scaling.

About his ultimate, I love it, but it feels out of place for Urgot. Don't get me wrong, it's an awsome ability and very unique, but I feel that Urgot, at his state, can't use it propely. I would LOVE to see him keep his ult, but at the same time, he may be not the right champion to have this sort of ability.

I agree with you when you say "I don't think they should continue with the obese spider beast abomination.", but only to some extent. They should remove the "obese" part, but I think he should stay ugly unless he becomes something like the fan art here (at the end of this comment)

Urgot is a soldier from Noxus who participated in numerous battles. He got several injuries, but he haven't died. Making him like Porky from Brawl just doesn't fit for his current lore. Sure, they could (and probably will) change his lore, but it won't differ that much from the current lore (See Sion). The only way I could see Urgot not ugly is if he was like a mix of General Grevious and Darth Vader (from Star Wars, I'm guessing you know who Ì'm talking about)

I feel like he should stay the half-dead guy without legs.

I saw this concept art and it's really nice: http://theredocelot.deviantart.com/art/League-of-Legends-Urgot-371679646

Rofl urgot is easily viable, and in some lanes, totally dominate , He needs a rework for sure though, that kit is pretty bland/old , and his ult isn't all too helpful unless your chasing and have enough damage/speed to catch them and kill them or have a teammate to help

Well he can be a top laner and can be played in various builds :) Im showing you a summoner 6 summoner 4 Urgot and his gameplay

I'm an Urgot main and I often get fed.

Can't forget his ult that will basically make him sacrifice himself for someone on the other team.

If you're in bronze, you'll sacrifice you. His R is op when used against out of position enemies.

But in all honesty Urgot is useless unless if he buys a sightstone.

Nope. Read his kit again. And almost always I buy Frozen hearth, so I have a great aura for my team.

I'm not really a dedicated Urgot player like Emperor Imperial but i think Urgot at least deserves a small buff or at least a new skin, or maybe a rework.

He's on an ok state. It's hard to buff him without making him broken. A new skin? Hell yes. A rework? Even better.

its time for Urgot to become OP once more as if he was in U.R.F. Urgots only moment to shine was in U.R.F and since that's gone Urgot lost his moment. +=endless misery. May our lord and savior phreak bestow tons a damage upon Urgot.

When he had URF I didn't know Urgot, so couldn't try him :C but yea everyone was OP.

Riot claims he's toxic to play against.

So they made him useless on purpose, invalidating the time and money their paying customers invested into Urgot, just because they didn't want to spend the effort to rework him.

They certainly tried to make him useless, but have you played against a competent Urgot..... That makes me shudder.....

And Poppy is perfectly viable at the moment AND is having the rework effort spent on her right now.

I remember there was a thread on the forums (not boards) from a Rioter asking what makes Urgot stand out? They seemed to have analyzed and concluded he should be a tank (the panzer kind). I've lost the thread somewhere, but they definitely have him on the priority list. That battlecast urgot skin looks so cool, and I hope I'd be able to use it again with a more less fun kit.

claps EDIT: You mean a Singed rework, not like a Sion one, right?

His 'get hit a skillshot, lose half your HP' mechanic is awful to play against in lane, this is true.

I would argue that it is no worse than the 'get hit by a skillshot, lose all your HP' mechanics that several of Riot's golden boys have Blitzcrank Leona Thresh

Urgot is VERY VERY VERY STRONG I don't know if you've ever tried this, but put a gunblade on him. As for his ult, that does need to be buffed, 120 armor and MR isn't enough to get him out, giving him 80 more and a movement speed buff would be a lot better fix. But the main use for his ult, and in fact his ENTIRE kit, is to make someone fight him on their own. He has a passive damage reduction, an armor reduction, as well as chasing abilities with his terror capacitor, he's VERY strong. He just needs a buff to his range as well as more attack speed, possibly giving his shield that kind of a buff as well.

I remember that one time when Urgot got played in a pro game and won. He did absolutely nothing all game and got carried hard. Some idiots seriously tried to argue that just the threat of his never-used ultimate was what won the game. Really.

You know the real reason the ultimate didn't get used? He wasn't able to. Because the range is shit.

Man i sure can't remember the last time i saw urgot.
