The Perfect Sona Build?!
As a intermediate LOL player, I want to learn how to improve myself at my mastery level 4 Sona. Help out?

Theres no 'perfect' builds for pretty much any champion, as builds should be situational.
You probably won't go too far wrong if you look up probuilds for sona and blindly copy them though, but you really should try to understand the why behind things so you can adjust your builds accordingly.
Like Mysticman89 said its situational and the probuilds are obviously the best ones because....they're pros lol
Personally, if i feel like it's an easy lane and the game is going well, I will actually go AP damage with a sight stone. By that I mean Sight Stone - Sorc Boots - Lich - Protobelt - Frost Queen and a situational item. 3rd passive proc with Q + ThunderLords + Sheen/Lich + Hextech Revolver does a ton of damage
If I want to go more support i'll just swap the damage items with support items for increased heal/utility and take windspeakers blessing with the rest in the resolve tree.
Pick whatever playstyle you want, but always try to build some CDR too. The faster/more Sona can spam her abilities the stronger she is
Not set in stone, but this basically sums up how I usually build Sona. Kinda old though, I generally just start with refillable potion now. Often get crucible before locket against teams with a lot of hard CC. Been liking lucidity boots lately, but mobis are still good.
generally end up with a final build that looks something like
I wait to upgrade to frost queen's a lot of the time and always leave a slot open for vision wards.
This core is fine too

you can also get
among other situational items
What kind of Sona build is that?

This what you REALLY want
