@Meddler MF seems to be in a really weird position.

ADC's as a whole aren't great right now but I feel as though MF is in a particularly unique position. Her design is to be a lane bully, lane impact on botlane is negligible at best so even if you do get ahead it can mean nothing if no other lanes draw even or pull ahead. The problem specifically is that say you have a perfect landing phase, double kill bot twice and you get your Duskblade by 12 minutes. You do an insane amount of damage with the Q bounce crit and your ult. That's it. If you build the only viable path on MF, Lethality, you're left with damage you can't access because mid to late game you rarely get chances to Q crit for that damage. You're a walking ultimate, of course you could say this would be fine because her ult can do a ridiculous amount of damage over a decent range but by the time lethality from your items and runes has capped off you lose a lot of damage on the ult due to other lanes already having resist. MF and a really fed Jhin are really the only ADC's that can run lethality but Jhin has the luxury of being useful even if he falls behind, due crit being a decent stat for him and for his ability to make picks.

It seems like either way she is forced into investing in items, praying that she can be useful IF the investment pays off. A 4/0 MF will always be less useful than a 4/0 mid, 4/0 top. Crit doesn't feel worth to build on MF, it feels pretty bad. I don't know if its solely due to it being MF or whether its just the state of ad's affecting her but having strong early game ADC falling off is fine, the problem is that she doesn't get enough of a reward to stay relevant in mid/late even if she does well. Much like Lucian/Draven but they're for a different post.

Are there any plans to take a look at MF in the near future or will the upcoming changes dictate whether or not she needs more attention?
