Taliyah after a Year

Alright, this is me going to be a angry online forum poster. So It's been around a year since Taliyahs release. How is her placement in league games especially in Ranked? I have a very hard time playing this champion because everything has a significantly stronger kit. I have watched my previous games with her and i have learned from what I can fix, other than that I have to play as the match goes on. I don't know if I should just ditch her for climbing since she feels very weak in the current meta. Should she be left as is or buffed?

I think she's good but only with team coordination. Playing her in solo queue requires 50/50 roaming with the hope your team backs you up or your skill level against lane opponent is high enough that you snowball off them. My most played champ this season, most wins come from me dominating early and stomping, rarely win games past 35 mins with taliyah. Only complaint is Q doesn't do enough to minions, damage to champions is amazing especially EW combo.

My only wish is for her Q to clear waves at higher levels, early game is fine but late game wave clear is little lacking compared to other mages. And by late game I mean 35+ min mark, at this point in the game she can not play the same style as before and takes on a more traditional mage style which is hindered by her Q nerf to minions:

Watch some LCS or MSI and you'll see her power on show.

In orgainised team in the hands of good player she is really strong.

Taliyah is just fine, but a tank meta certainly hurts her. Right now she's in a position where she isn't pick ban in pro play, but suffers in solo queue due to that. With the changes brought to her a while ago she had to have more reliance on Q, and the power of her W E went down. However, if you master her she will do wonders for you, just not as much as before.
