[Akali] Personal Rework
I would like to share my personal rework of Akali, Fist of Shadow. I wanted to move Akali out of the point and click, low skill cap, viable only when snowballing champ. Which I think I sort of did. She's still probably way too potent, but things can be tweaked. I was more interested in fixing her kit, for viability, flare, and modernized. Though this did come at small cost of playing more like other Ionian champions. Since Akali was one of the earlier Ionians her kit was based highly around just being a flippin' Ninja! With reworks of Shen and Karma, the creation of Irelia, Yasou, and Ahri. Ionians have certainly picked up play kit theme.
I love that shes is mobile assassin, and can really focus a single target. What I don't love is she is only mobile because of her ultimate.
I love she is one of the few assassins that can single a target out and remove them. What I don't love is that completely once again based around her ultimate and snowballing.
I love she can build multiple ways. What I don't love is that you have to wait till champs are also near core or full builds removing your power, or a complete stomp of your enemy team. Which means any champion is viable, fun, and deadly...
Please tell me if this is hard to read in this presentation. Thanks!
Notes: n = Smaller scaling number N= Larger scaling number X= Static number
Passive:
Twin Masteries
Mark of the Assassin:
When Akali is stealthed or hidden the range of her abilities increases by 100%.
Lotus Petal grant stacks of Mark of the Assassin, allowing Akali to gain special abilities. Stacks
to 5. Mark of the Assassin lasts 15 seconds.
Q: **Lotus Petal Range: 425 Cost: 60 Cooldown: 3s; Lotus Bloom **Range: 350 Cost: 3 Marks Cooldown: 5s
Active: Akali throws her kamas in a tight forward arc dealing physical damage. Physical Damage: Base Ad(+ N% AP).
Active: After 3 charges, Akali may activate Lotus Bloom, spinning at high speed in place dealing physical damage 3 times to all enemies nearby. Lotus Bloom my activate on-hit effects and critically strike the first enemy hit. Physical Damage: 10/20/30/40/50(+ N% AD)
W: Twin Mastery
Passive Discipline of Force: Energy based attacks have a natural NX%(+1% per X AP) as true damage.
Discipline of Might: Basic melee attacks to refund n1,n2,n3,n4,n5 energy.
Active: Akali uses 5 stacks of Mark of the Assassin to add N(+n% AP)(+N% AD) magical damage to her next attack. This removes passive bonuses and has reduced spell vamp returns. Cool down: 30s/27/25/23/20
E:** Shadow Dance **Range: 350/375/400/425/450 Cost: 100 Energy Cooldown: 20s
Active: Akali moves through the shadows to quickly dash to and strike the targeted enemy, dealing physical damage. Akali may use Shadow Dance twice more at 325 range for 80% less energy to strike an enemy target, dealing magic damage.
Physical Damage: 20/40/60/80/100 (+N% AP) Magical Damage: 35/40/45/50/55 (+n% AP)
R: Sakura Range: 700 Cost 100/75/50 Energy Cooldown 25/20/15s
Active: Akali throws a dart in a straight line, leaving a 300-trail of smoke and cherry blossoms. Lasting 3/4/5s. When Akali runs through this trail she will gain stealth. If Sakura strikes a target that target spreads Sakura for 1/2/3s before exploding leaving the area covered for 2/3/4s. Combat may remove this stealth effect.
Quick thought on my changes: Passive: A nice perk for trying to be stealthy, increases mobility naturally. Slows down snowballing of the old passive. This is much better at lower levels, but doesn't become an quirky math passive that wrecks feeders.
Q: Simply a skill shot now that also builds your passive resource. Allowing you save it for single target burst or to farm/cleave better.
W: Better farming and a nice punch for landing 2 skill shots. Activating it removes the passive for a long time, so make sure its worth it.
E: Shadow Dance, but not at lvl 6 anymore and less ant-ifun. Allow some light terrain crossing and a cool combo if you build heavy ap.
R: Smoke bomb, but more reward for skill. Also doesn't allow people to peel Akali. Gives her more ways to roam and attack.
