Karma and Heimerdinger's ultimates should all have different cooldown times for each one. The common things to do are to always use Ult+Q but I feel there are more to the champions and players to think more on their feet and in the situation rather than just spamming the same Ult types.
As a Karma main, I take offense to the idea that all we do is RQ when we really do have to decide on how to use our ultimate in team fights, who to shield, who to poke, and who to snare and heal from. Sure, our combo is only to go in and W followed by a RQ, but in teamfights, Karma has the most influence in teamfights with how she applies her ultimate to support her team.
