So This Just Happened...
Can someone please explain to me how this loss was my fault? My teammates spent the whole match trash talking me, accusing me of being a troll, blaming me every time they died (they dove into the enemy team repeatedly, but hey that's apparently my fault), spamming surrender votes when we were ahead on kills/dragons/turrets. Yes you heard that right, they wanted to surrender when we were ahead on kills and objectives! Worst of all, they were ganging up on me in chat and forming a consensus that I was the reason for every single thing that went wrong. We had a nice team lead for a while, but they decided to throw it by diving into the enemy team like maniacs and mindlessly overextending. By the latter parts of the game it seemed like they wanted to lose.
I just don't get why this keeps happening. My teammates gang up on me in chat and blame me for everything, even when I'm carrying the whole game! I could see this type of thing happening rarely, but it's happening on a regular basis! I went 12/3/12 ffs! I GOT AN S f****** PLUS!
After the match, they ganged up on me again in the lobby saying that were all going to report me.
It absolutely defies logic to say that the person who performed the best in the match and was carrying the game is the reason why the team lost. This type of situation has happened a number of times this season, and I'm concerned that there is something deeper going on here. FFS, I could see why someone would tell me off if I was feeding or not playing well, but they trash me for almost carrying them to victory. This just doesn't make sense. Why is the 12/3 mid laner deserving of constant abuse while the 6/20 bot lane gets a free pass?
This isn't making any sense. Are people queuing up for ranked just for the joy of flaming other people and costing them games? Or have I been singled out and am being preyed upon by people who have some sort of vendetta against me? Is there some sort of effort to prevent me from climbing by hook or by crook? This has me sincerely worried.
Again, I can't stress this point enough, I would not be too worried about this if it was a rare occurrence, but it's happening on a regular basis and I can't logically think of a reason why the by far best performer on the team would be accused of being a troll, and inter, and blamed for literally every teammate death. I also can't think of why someone would spam surrender votes when we have an 8 kill lead along with a multiple dragon and turret lead.
You might say that using ignore all would fix the problem, but reality is that it wouldn't. The whole team still reports me, so I can't prevent that from happening. I also can't stop them from griefing/inting when they feel slighted for whatever nonsensical reason.
