I just noticed that Ekko has a sorta gold problem. (Low Silver)

Everytime I play with some fangled new Ekko player, he ends up giving up first blood, but dominates around 5-10, then starts instagibbing squishes around 20 minutes and ends up with 5 to 12 kills. But despite all that and fairly good wave clear, he ends up as the lowest gold income in the game (less than support). This happened around 3 out of 4 Ekkos over the last 2 days.

Is Ekko only good at picking off stragglers? he doesn't seem to do a lot in team fights. his W's very obvious and he can't initiate so he doesn't get a say in where to place his W ahead of time. so like 50% of the time he just hangs back waiting for his CDs while spamming his Q.

I'm just curious since people are dishing out "Ekko is OP" and stuff, but the stats say otherwise. :/

Umm... I got a pentakill with nothing but me, a tower, and a Jinx who showed up just in time to save me and help bag the 3rd and 5th kill (the third was someone she ulted before she got there).

Ekko's main thing is he highlights enemy weaknesses. If enemy team is bad, he makes it look worse. He KS's alot, but because he is better at finishing of low champs then most other people. So he snowballs hard and it looks like he is the reason, when usually the other team just played bad anyways and he picked off all the people who would have likely died anyways.

Confused as to how someone with aoe cc, and multi target damage with an invul+heal is a bad team fighter? His kit is more reliable in a team fight because cc makes landing his W+R guaranteed along with the chaos during one.
