Riot Has Made Each Recent Champion Progressively More Trolltastic

I've been a long time lurker, and I've been playing League of Legends since right after the beta came out. I love this game (clearly, or I would have rage quit several seasons ago), but recently Riot has been crushing my soul with the most recent wave of champions that they have released. I have never found the need to post until now, but this has been bothering me.

Let's start with Bard. This trolltastic champ has a myriad of abilities that are just a sheer pain in the ass. It's almost as if Riot knew that awful Bard players would use their ults just to screw with their teammates. This champ is a pain, but nothing to rage about.

Ekko, the bane of each lane. How did riot think that building a champion with such an enormously overpowered kit would be fair?! He has insane amounts of burst damage, sustained damage, a slow, and a stun, and he has so much mobility that he can hop over walls. That's not even mentioning an ultimate that allows him to heal up enormously while dealing massive AOE damage. Overpowered? Yes. Broken? No.

Despite the slight nerf, the remake of Ryze has turned him into less of a champion and more of a raid boss. I don't think much else needs to be said about that.

And then there is Tahm Kench. This is the most broken champion that I have EVER seen--that's including Nocturne when he first came out, Vlad when his old passive made him borderline unkillable late game, and Rengar when you could stack up his Q at level 1 and 1 shot anyone in top lane with ignite--yes, the same Rengar that had a get-out-of-jail-free ultimate that allowed him to almost instantly stealth regardless of whether he was taking damage. TK's passive by itself is strong but not that big of a deal on its own, since hitting 3 stacks take a little while. His tongue lash, which, correct me if I'm wrong, has the longest range out of any melee champion ability in the game, seems a bit overpowered. That lovely ability with a 800 range can be used in combo with devour, which is possibly one of the most broken non-ultimate abilities in the game. Upon casting on enemies, it can hit for 32% OF THE TARGET'S MAX HP!!! As if taking almost 1/3 of an opponent's hitpoints weren't broken enough, TK can cast this ability on allies to end suppressions, stuns, and damn near any form of CC. The fact that TK can stop Malzahar's suppression ultimate is incredibly broken--the only other normal (Q/W/E) ability that can break CC like this is Morgana's Black Shield, but that needs to be applied BEFORE the CC is initied, not DURING. Speaking of Morgana, if TK devours Morg while she is ulting, it will break her chains on all of her targets. It seems unreasonable to me that a basic ability like this can completely interrupt game/fight-changing ultimates that have long cooldowns with a 90 mana 14-10 second cooldown normal ability. Thoughts?

Tl;dr Rito plz

If you ask me it is because the are running out of ideas. They have to turn to these mechanics that they have been avoiding for so long. The idea of another player controlling an ally makes for some very easy trolling and this is why they stayed away from it.

It does seem like they are definitely expanding the pool of things they feel comfortable doing. Hopefully if they are running low on ideas they slow the release cycle (which they kinda already did) to help make sure to not just throw out increasingly crazy stuff (which I do think some people may already think is happening).
