AR needs to be taken away from URF

Anyone else frustrated with the current implementation of urf? Going through endless games of getting weak picks that are either terrible to play or just no fun to play in URF and then having to wait 15min to 20mins to try again.

The randomness also seems to be off, I have played 80 games and I have gotten tryn once in that time frame (I don't even own half of the characters). And when you do get a good/fun character to play, there's also a chance you will get a griefer/troll who ruins the game and you have to start off randomly hoping you get a fun character to play the next game. Its so frustrating.

The randomness is terrible in this mode and it punishes you. It also decides games at champ loading screen. To me it's terribly implemented and I am at my breaking point.

Some weak /not fun picks in my mind (probably others): Singed Sion GP alistar fiora zilean Malph

although you listed some very odd champs you think aren't fun...I agree. Getting Trundle against a nid/jayce lane is just 20 minutes of wasted time

Yes, it was just a few examples. I have faced Nid and Jayce in a lane as GP, I just decided to leave the lane after 2mins.

Needless to say we lost.

I Completely Agree.. The All Random Aspect Completely Ruined URF For Me. League Can Already Be A Frustrating Game For Me, As It Is. And URF Was One Of My Favorite Featured Modes Until They Ruined It. If I Wanted To Play Something Where I Didn't Get To Pick My Champ And Didn't Get To Ban Champs I Don't Want To Deal With, I'd Play ARAM. I've Always Said This, Ever Since They Made The Horrible Mistake Of Making It So You Get Random Champs. The Reason Other People Have Told Me They Even Done It Is So It "Balances" Teams Out, Which Is Total BS. I've Played A Few Games Of It Since They Put It Back Into The Rotation And All Have Been Very One Sided. Hearing About URF Being Back Was Pretty Much The Only Reason I Even Updated League Of Legends Last Weekend Then I Found Out It Was All Random Again. I've Only Played 6 Games Over Both And Most Were Only To Play With Friends. I'll Probably Go Back To Just Not Playing Again.

All of those champs you listed are ridiculous in URF, Fiora is arguably the best champ in the entire mode.

The mode as a whole isnt fun anymore for me personally. People take this way to seriously and toxicity ruined the fun factor

I think this has to do with people getting more frustrated not being able to pick fun champs to play.

Possibly, but last night (early morning, in fact), I got flamed for being nice then for doing poorly. The guy would not let up on how much he hated me for being nice and how much he wanted me to die. He was playing Zyra, which I don't think is that bad of a Champion to play on URF.

Yeah, my score wasn't good at all but he still had no right to say the things he did, nor was he right to get mad at me before I started doing terribly about being nice. My positive attitude stopped me from getting tilted though. I reminded myself that I was playing for fun, I was playing a fun Champion, and that guy is a pathetic loser for trying to ruin my day, and so I stayed happy. I didn't flame him back, just calmly replied to his comments, and gave a descriptive report at the end of the game. He didn't get punished based on my report, but I imagine he'll get punished soon if he keeps up the attitude.

I disagree, I like getting the chance to play all my Champions. I wouldn't normally play Shyvana in URF, but I got it anyways and decided to try it for the hell of it. I ended up doing really well! I like seeing lots of different Champion picks. Seeing the same group of Champions every game isn't fun, and I no longer feel bad whenever I see an overpowered Champion on the enemy side. I don't need to say, "Well, I should have banned that instead of X" because it was just random chance that that person got that Champion.

You have a weird list of "not fun" picks. Alistar is a top-tier pick - he was pick/ban in URF. AP malph is hilarious. Fiora can built full damage and shred anybody in a 1v1. Zilean is okay - not great, but not terrible. GP is pretty good especially mid, but only if youre good at GP (you still need barrel mechanics to make him work). I agree that Sion and Singed arent very fun, but they are doable. Sion just goes suicide-splitpushing. Singed you need to balance some damage with tankiness (I go tanky first, cause you need to survive lane), then run around with permault. It does help that people are extra bloodthirsty and love to chase.

I agree with not liking the AR part, but mostly cause I play urf looking to try out some cheese champion or strat (like waveclear Cait mid who ults on cooldown, or AP Lucian). But come on - youre poo-pooing some good picks.

Sorry there has been a lot of changes since URF was last here and some characters just aren't that good or fun to play.

You are missing out on synergies that you could setup before. Now you may get stuck with Alistar and Singed in a lane. Good luck having fun for 20mins.

What exact changes are you talking about that makes Alistar not one of the most annoying, strong picks in URF?

And Alistar/Singed isnt a terrible lane into most matchups. Its just that one of you has to use your flash aggressively on cooldown until you get a big enough lead just to run anyone down.

While I don't agree with your picks because some of those champs are amazing in urf specially fiora and malph they are couple of the strongest, I do agree the the rest, all random kinda ruined it for me, within like 30 games I had already rolled Dianna maybe 8 or more times (the only champion i don't own is kled), not that Diana isn't good, I just don't play the champ like ever if would be nice if even appeared to be random but after rolling the same 3 champs in 50% of my games it got annoying things were better when they had bans, but i guess they are determined to kill the best game mode they ever though of pretty soon people are just gonna have URF accounts just like ARAM, or they could just make all champs available when in any all random mode but that just makes too much sense

Better idea. Take away the URF instead and make it so everyone gets a random champion, random summoners, random masteries, and random runes and then loads up into a game.

advantage of arurf is that yiu get a CHANCE of having a fun game if you try to pick outside the like top 20 OP, you know what happened in urf whenever I chose a fun pick? I got curbstomped because I had to face the top OP champions all the god damn time, so lets see

Yeah I fucking love playing against hecarim sona zed jayce leblanc every single game. I get rock solid hard just thinking about getting shockblasted five times a second by someone permanently running at twice normal speed. I moan in ecstasy every time Zed is killing my ADC from six screens away

Out of around 120+ games from these past weekends and on the PBE, have gotten Riven 8 games, 3 games I actually wasn't stomped into dirt by Trynda/Wukong/Shaco/Fizz/Fiora and 2 of those I actually was able to have fun and help carry, other 5 games was ARURF at it's finest, having a Mordekaiser on my team with a Soraka vs Zed, Fiora and Jax.. I would love URF because I'd know who the enemy is gonna play (Op shit) but atleast i COULD choose how i'd wanna be fucked.

being able to pick jayce, nid everygame tho is why they made it all random. yea maybe you wasted 20 minutes of your time but when urf wasnt random, it was shit. it was stale and always the same. everyone played op champs and 1 team still wasted 20 minutes of time. So quit complaining. Eventually riot will just get rid of it because you snowflakes complain about everything.

Fiora is amazing.

Malph is gonna have his R up 100% of the time, so I think you just gotta play like a bitch till 6, then group with someone else and gangbang whoever comes your way.

Zilean is bomb spam. Also, does his reduce CD's thing affect his ult? Because that would be annoying af.
