Fruitful Communication
Community: It's so nice to be here! Thanks to Riot we got all kinds of fruits to eat! And they never end! We got infinite kiwis, infinite strawberries... Life's good! Riot enters the room. Riot: Hello Community! How's it going? I see you have a lot of fun here. Is there anything I can do to make you EVEN MORE happy? Community: Hello Riot! Thank you for all this fantastic fruits! This new Definitely not Bananas Bananas? Hilarious! But if you've already asked... Well, what about Regrowth System where we can rewatch how fruits grow? Like the one the other Communities have... Oh, and we would like a dirtbox to grow some tomatoes... Riot: I'm sorry Community, but it look like those things might produce unnecessary ammounts of toxins! Community: :( Riot: But wait! Community, you have all this fruits here, I can make a fruit salad for you! What do you think? Community: Fruit salad is cool. We'd like fruit salad.
Few patches later...
Community: Wait, what is this... What the hell?! RIOT! You took ALL of our fruits! Riot: Yes! And I made for you... Infinite ammount of fruit salad! :D! Yay for Riot! Community: But Riot! Sometimes We just want to eat a single fruit, like a banana. We don't want to eat fruit salad all the time! Riot: But you can! If you avoid other fruits, it's basically like eating a single fruit! Community: ... Riot: And the best part is - if your friends like other fruits, you can eat from a single bowl! How COOL is that?! Community: Wait, where are grapefruits? Riot: ? Community: You also took our grapefruits! They are not even in the fruit salad! We sometimes used them as a ball... Riot: Oh, I think I know what's going on here. A decent number of people share your opinion, for sure. The thing is, everything we're seeing tells us although some people are super mad that there are no single fruits anymore, the life overall is still better. We did surveys asking "do you like the fruit salad" and in most regions the majority (over 70%) said yes, they do. ~10% didn't care, another ~7.5% sort of didn't like it, and the rest (something like ~7.5%) REALLY didn't like it. Those are rough numbers, but they're all pretty close. I have a solid guess about which group you fall into, but the truth is that fruit salad is working for most people, and we generally like it. Hope that addresses some of your concerns.
