For the people complaining about too many 'difficult or complex champs'.
I don't think you would want to play a game composed of all Garen-like characters that have almost the exact same play style and abilities.

is simple,
is simple, old and new

Hell most champs until 2014 were mostly simple, excluding a few bad seeds (
), the fad of doing over complicated champs is a recent thing
and
are equally simple but ages apart, there would still be alot of variety if they kept design simple
Yeah apparently people are getting annoyed with champs that actually take skill like..

The problem isn't the skill cap, you think everyone who plays Garen can kick ass? Everyone takes skill The problem is champs that you have to spend 20 minutes reading to learn what he does
Take ekko, using him isn't complicated at all, he is fairly straight forward, the problem is all the IFs if you hit a minion this happen if a champion this happens this goes at set speed BUT if it hits it slows down and slows the enemy, it can hit only once going and onece back, even if the enemy is constantly under it oh oh and it expands This does X damage going but Y damage returning This gives a slow BUT if you are in it it stuns and you get a shield this put you back 4 seconds BUT it deals aoe damage AND it also heals
while garen is like you heal faster if not hit you gain speed and your next basic does more damage and silences you have more defense for awhile you spin and aoe damage you do more damage the less hp the enemy has
I dare you to go play Wisp or Meepo on Dota and then tell me Kalista "takes skill"
That excuse has always been stupid in LoL. Literally every champion is fairly straight forward. Dont confuse skillfloor with skillcap.
Rammus is actually really complicated. Sometimes I have to decided if I wanted to max w or e first. These are big decisions.
I don't think I've heard people complain about too many difficult/complex champions.
I've heard people complain there's too many champions and it's overwhelming them and making picking up the game seem like a chore.
I've also heard people complain that their aren't any truly difficult champions in LoL, as the high skill-cap or absurdly complex cases in DotA with champions like Meepo or Invoker beat what Riot offers by a noticeable margin.
