Need a quick summary of every lane and their purpose.

I know what each lane has to do. I just need to decide what lane i should main. If someone can help me find that out pls do so. But i just need you guys to like tell me what the title asks <3?

Top Lane: Supposed to provide some sort of tanky frontline for team fights, Also provides map pressure through split pushing and teleporting.

Jungle: Pretty straightforward. Relieves pressure from lanes while providing vision throughout the jungle and trying to perform successful ganks to put laners ahead.

Mid Lane: One of the two carries on the team. Supposed to win lane matchup in 1v1 and 2v2 situations and provide (normally) ability power damage for the team. Also roams to help other lanes when possible/opportunistic.

ADC: Supposed to farm until powerspikes/grouping occurs. Sieges towers while providing heavy AD damage and armor penetration DPS (Damage per second) to enemy team.

Support: Keeps carries alive while providing vision of the map. Builds situational items that help the entire team do their job more efficiently. Also can be another form of frontline/peel for the carries.

Of course these never happen and it's all about team slayer at the end of the day.

Depends on champ but basically:

Top: tank/bruiser. Splitpushes or gets early advantage then roams. If tank just farms till team fights.

Jg: Assassin/bruiser/tank. Safer version of top lane. Shares most vision duties with support as well as in charge of ganking to get laners ahead.

Mid: Assassin/burst mage/zone control. Most high AP champs go here. Their role is usually to be squishy but deal high dmg to multiple targets.

ADC: Most mechanical role, continuous single target dmg. Can be burst but heals from lifesteal. Usually starts out weak but scales better than most roles into late game.

Support: keeps team's dmg source alive. In charge of vision. Depending on support role varies between protecting squishy teammates and locking down high dmg enemies.
