Riot Violates your First Amendment Rights and should be sued.. Get what you deserve

VizonicClone··1 votes·1,266 views

Look we all have the right to express our selves. Riot set you up to be paired with trolls who literally try to make your experience as unbearable as possible. If you speak up you get punished if you say nothing you are stuck with a teammate who literally is only interested in trolling you. Really a formal lawsuit should be brought to court. This organization punishes you for defending yourself when you are being bullied by players. If a company like this that profits so much form our play will not take a stand against trolls and players that purposely create misconduct.

I love when people use the first amendment defense when they very clearly have NO idea of how it works.

Another person that serves the riot agenda? good job subverting the constitution.

This isn't Riot's agenda, nor subverting the constitution. You clearly don't know how the first amendment works.

The first amendment says and I quote: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

Which means the government can't do that, our government can't make laws to bar the rights of people to say what they wish, this amendment DOESN'T apply to private businesses.

You are free to say what you want, just as they are free to punish you for not listening to their rules.

It would be like going to a store or restaurant or any privately owned establishment and yelling off slurs, or curses or whatever. They are within their right to kick you out.

Slurs and and curses are a staple of this platform. The challenge is to be quiet if you do ? Riot rewards you? If you don't and do the honorable thing and stick up for yourself your punished. It's awesome to know that Riot employs people like you to troll their forums. To make sure they are protected. Really though if you are replying there is some validity to my claim.

Based off what exactly?

The challenge is to be quiet if you do ? Riot rewards you?

Dude, you can say whatever you please, you can curse like a fucking sailor, as long as you don't throw out any slurs or point insults at people, you won't ever be punished.

It's awesome to know that Riot employs people like you to troll their forums. To make sure they are protected. Really though if you are replying there is some validity to my claim.

So anyone who disagrees with you is on Riot's payroll and/or is trolling? Should we just not reply then and just downvote you instead?

If you go and sit down in a restaurant and start talking really loudly, swearing and all and ignoring polite requests of the waitstaff to please keep the noise and language appropriate, they have the right to kick you out, as it's their establishment.

Same thing here

do you work for riot?

VizonicClone

so if you go into a restaurant and another customer starts harassing you and you mind your business. That same patron keeps saying rude things and the restaurant employees do nothing about it . You speak up for self and the restaurant throws you out or say you shouldn't speak up. Your in the wrong.

Same thing here

If someone's harassing you and you "mind" your own business, that's called being stupid. The entire scenario you provided is fucking stupid unless there is prejudice in the restaurant pertaining to either you or that person. No restaurant throws people out for speaking up for themselves unless there is physical violence involved, disturbing the peace, etc. How about using an actual scenario? Also, why do you care about the words of a complete stranger?

lol isnt that the example you provided ?

The constitution only applies to the government (its a set of restrictions that the government must follow which is normally just a list of rights that it cant take away from you), you wave your right to the first amendment / freedom of speech when you play league, terms of service is a contract that you follow in order to play the game..

You arnt being forced to play league, so I don't see a problem here.

If you are paying money to a organization that sells it product on US soil and they operate under those laws they should be adhere to the laws set forth. I know your riot employee and you are apart of the company and your job is to subvert any claim of wrong doing .

Tahminatrix 6 votes

I am not a riot employee and everything I said is true, now it seems to me like you are nothing more than a troll... -_-

YOU WAVED THE RIGHT TO THE FIRST AMENDMENT ACCORDING TO THE TERMS OF SERVICE, YOU CONSENTED TO THIS WHEN YOU PLAY THE GAME.

You literally ignored everything I said about the constitution and threw bias out of the air at me... and then accuse me of being someone who works for riot?

Ya this is a troll thread.

VizonicClone1 votes

if it was troll thread you wouldn't of responded so quickly. Riot will literally take peoples money and punish them for expressing themselves. your comment directed to: YOU WAVED THE RIGHT TO THE FIRST AMENDMENT ACCORDING TO THE TERMS OF SERVICE, YOU CONSENTED TO THIS WHEN YOU PLAY THE GAME.

If you weren't a riot employee what purpose does that serve you>?

Listen i agree that rito goes overboard w/ punishments for "being mean" (telling your terrible teamate to play safer/stop feeding), however, as a company your account is technically their property therefore they have a right (same as a landlord does) to tell you what you can and cannot do in thier game, thats the legality of it, and this is from someone whose account (that im posting from) is perma'd (for what i believe wasnt severe enough to be a perma)

Riot will do anything to push down bad press or own up to the truth.

Be careful guys, if you disagree, you are working for riot!
