Riot The Ranked Flex Queue: Answers Please

I just played a game where as you can see we lost. A loss is a loss that's not a big deal. The reason why we lost, or at least part of the reason, is because of the way flex queue is right now. Someone please correct me if I am wrong (we are always learning new things :) ) but if you look up the people on the other team in the match they were ranked much higher than at least I am. Some ranked gold others silver. What I don't understand is why this is happening. Is it just a problem that is being looked at? Any suggestions or information on this would be very helpful.

Matchups in flex queue are all over the map.

While the average MMR of the teams tends to be close, it's common to have teams with SoloQ ranks spread from bronze to platinum. This is really tough for the bronze laner up against the plat laner.

Riot said they would fix some of this with the last maintenance window. It does seem to be a little better, but it's still bad. Hopefully this will eventually work itself out as most players play enough to settle at the flex rank they should be at.

This queue is a joke, u mix plat with bronze, silver and gold, of course you get the real bronze while their bronze 5 is a smurf with 12-2-10 kda :'D so fun to play i cannot stop! PS: I forgot the best part, forcing people to play supp makes them troll like never before, so either you bend or gotta take it..
