General Help Improving?

So I'm a support main. It's far and away my favorite role since season 3. I've slowly and painfully climbed from Bronze 5 back in season 3 to gold. But since then have been stagnant having trouble even winning in low silver. I think my biggest problem is knowing when and how to gank as a support, rotations, and what objectives to prioritize. I could use some help with positioning as well. I'm just wondering if anyone knows of a resource or have any tips for me to improve?

The difficult part of a answering your question(as it is a question most every player has, unless they are Diamond) - is the famous 'how do i get better at the game'. I wish there was an easy way to say it, but it's like asking another man advice on picking up chicks. All he's gonna say is 'Just do your thing, and be you'. All another player can say is, 'Just do your best, and don't rage'. If you have climbed from Bronze to Gold, that is a significant climb that i only made during Season 4 and was humble and proud of it. It seems like you're on track, but always remember to be content with whatever elo you get stuck in. there's 100,000 other players stuck in your elo that want to climb, too. If you are at a point where you have stopped climbing, be content with where you are. Improvement comes on its own, in time.

Your problem is you're a support main. You can't get out of lower elo's with utility alone, you need to find a role you can hard carry in. Not only that, but getting better at another role will help better your understanding on, like you said, when and how to gank as a support, rotations, and what objectives to prioritize
