Assassins, Exhaust, and counterplay

With all the changes to assassins to help improve counterplay what is happening with exhaust? Exhaust quite literally make every single assassin in the game useless with NO counterplay other than running cleanse. There needs to be some form of counterplay to all things right? So why is exhaust not at least able to be taken off with qss anymore? Coming from an assassin main I'm personally wondering if it will ever get changed or if rioters think that assassins will ever be viable as long as the only answer to exhaust is cleanse.

summoner 3 lowers your attack speed and I think your move speed by 30%, armor and magic resist by 10, and lowers your damage by 40% for 2.5 seconds with a 210 second cooldown.. that's once every 3 minutes and 30 seconds

If you as an assassin can't handle that then stop playing assassins or git gud. If they have to save that for you then use that to your advantage, that means they have one less summoner spell and all you have to do is survive every so often with 10 less armor and MR on a champ that doesn't particularly depend on either one.

If you hate exhaust so much just kill the one with exhaust. 40% damage reduction on an assassin isn't going to make that big a difference if they are dealing assassin level damage to a target that isn't getting tanky. They might survive but they still can't ignore you unless youre depending on something sustained like attack speed but that's your own fault for trying to get the best of every world.

Exhaust is the counterplay for supports trying to save them and their adc from giving the assasin a free double

Lulu : honestly baby, your counter play is not trying to jump on my ADC with me right there beside her with and my spells up. Because if you do, I am the one who gets to "counter-play" YOU.

I am a busy girl, I have other things to do besides babysitting crybaby carry all day long. If you can't wait for me to go about my day, you deserve what's coming to you.
