Fiora Q change to make ult feel more fun/useful [Suggestion]

After playing a few games with fiora I feel like she has a lot of potential but it is very hard to play it well. I thought of one thing that may help her feel a bit better during her ult.

This is what we have on the Q currently:

If Lunge hits an enemy, its cooldown is reduced by 60%.

Change on enemy hit: 60% -> 50%

Add: If Lunge hits a vital, its cooldown is reduced by 70%.

This will help fiora move around a little bit more during her ult while not making it too strong when not hiting a vital.

Q has a 18 / 16 / 14 / 12 / 10 second cooldown on live. At rank 5:

50% -> 5 second cooldown; 3 seconds with 40% cdr.

60% -> 4 second cooldown; 2.4 seconds with 40% cdr.

70% -> 3 second cooldown; 1.8 seconds with 40% cdr.

I like this idea quite a bit. It adds to the desired dancing blade-ace fantasy while punishing raw chasing and bad play. A++

Fiora's team fight is so bad... its like, with old Fiora you needed to position and strike at the right time, with new Fiora, you need to wait and position but even when you strike you are helpless... She has no team fight potential whatsoever. She's more an assassin than she was before, but now she doesn't have any of the kill potential. You literally watch your team fight or you go in and get blown up... you can use your w to block some damage but there's always more that follows... and really her ult doesn't serve any purpose in a big team brawl, half the time it doesn't even feel useful in lane lol... I miss old Fiora... this new one is so underwhelming.

Feel like fiora needs a little buff? Make it 75% on vital hit.

75% -> 2.5 second cooldown; 1.5 seconds with 40% cdr.

She's awful. Yeah some potential, with huge buffs. But then she'll be unstoppable if she actually does connect on vitals/ult. They need to find a middle ground or just go back to the old Fiora which was fun to play.

Also her ult makes no sense. The reward for proc'ing it is pointless and helps no one because the fight has moved or its over. It also makes no sense for a grand duelist.

Nice idea. I was looking at some Fiora plays on Twitch and she seems very difficult to manoeuvre to the point that she needs to do well in a teamfight.

They could also buff her movement speed bursts or more slow on the Riposte to let her reposition (walk) around her target easier.

FWIW, there's a tentative 2 second reduction of Lunge cooldown at all ranks on the way. Rank 5 will be 8 seconds, 3.2 with the reset and 1.92 with max CDR.

They still nerfed her into the dirt. She's too squishy to duel effectively... her only real damage comes from hitting vitals... which makes it even less likely you will trade... even when I'm winning lane with her I still can't do shit late game because in a teamfight, once your riposte is down you're left squishy as all fuck... you can try to build health/armor/mr but then you do even less damage, all her ult gives you is a speed boost and a heal AFTER your target's been killed, during that time the enemy team can melt her. I used to play Fiora vs Jax and dominate laning phase (until he turned into the powerhouse he is late game) but now, even when I riposte his stun and stun him, I can't deal enough damage, that when he comes out of his stun he melts me in three shots (pre six)... she's not a Grand Duelist at all.. she needs her team's constant support to be effective late game/in team fights... all in all Riot agrees they nerfed her way too hard and she's set for some MUCH needed buffs... sigh. -1 top lane champ until shit is fixed...

That being I said, I like her new kit - for what it is, it feels fun and great - but the passive is much to be desired and the ult is just an underwhelming pile of shit for a "grand duelist"... anyways... rant over.

I feel like if you Ulti it should be like 80% so that you can actually hit all 4 vital points. Most of the time the guy dies before i can get all 4 ulti procks.

The problem I've found with Fiora q is that unless the champ you're going for has a vital facing you, the q will hit any nearby enemy, minions included. This can fuck up a chase. It tries to prioritize champs but sometimes fails, also there is no prioritization for minions or monsters, so when you lunge you will strike the nearest enemy which may be a lesser monster in a camp. Overall I think that they should just change her q to be like Evelynn q, where it prioritizes that last unit you targeted.

This would give the q more reliability, in addition to the changes in this post as well.

A couple ideas I have are: When lunging an ult'd target, you get 75% cdr on vault. This would make average trading normal as it is, and make hitting all 4 vitals during ult a little easier. As it is when i ult someone I vault and hit one, but then they just run away and hitting those other 3 become very difficult. Even when they stand there it seems to time consuming and feels weird to try and circle them.

Another idea would be that you get a 2 cast lunge on an ult'd target.

A side buff for her ult is I'd like to see her get a percent of her final healing for every vital landed during the dual. Or even a 1st vital-5% of the heal; 2nd vital 10%; 3rd vital 15%; 4th vital 20%; and the last 50% in the final aoe.

the question is one ... does she need that

and we dont have answer because we just got a high skillcap champion (imo azir tier) and no time to learn it

so i dont think that we get to buff her untill we git gud
