Why can't /ff be earlier like at 15 minutes?

Last game I played, which although we played out, there was a complete dick on my team from the start of champ select. First he gets autofilled to support. Doesn't like it says he's gonna mid without even asking or caring. I'm mid but say it's fine and won't fight over it since he's so insistent on being mid.

yes, a 5 minute difference doesn't seem like much but some people are on a time crunch and would rather not waste those 5 minutes of going through a complete hell.

So he gets mid and some of my teammates are calling him out on it for being a dick about taking mid. But I'm mid and they're not so it's ok.

What wasn't ok was getting into game to watch this asshole who took mid start messing up my jungler's clear. He played Syndra and started W just to throw the red buff over the dragon wall. He did this not once, but twice setting the jungler behind many levels.

This type of trolling is why the ability to surrender should be made earlier. Sure, we played it out because Twitch got fed and wanted to play it out but this Syndra made the game so miserable from the start of champ select and it takes 4 to ff but it was extremely hard to do much against their team with a fed Lux and Camille plus a jungler who outleveled ours due to Syndra's trolling.

Because that used to be the point around which you could tell if there was no more hope. But still a fair bit below the average game time. Games have gotten shorter though.
