Mage Item Update and Why You Shouldn't QQ

Hear me out,

These items don't currently exist, in any way shape or form, so why are you guys all acting like this is the end of days? They could all change after testing on PBE or even if they don't, it's a new and possibly exciting change to the game. I don't like stagnation personally, and you shouldn't be afraid of change either. Players will learn, adapt, and grow to make these items great. If any of them are too OP, UP, or just plain don't work, they'll get changed. It might take a hot minute_ but things can always change_.

I do understand the fear and the general negative push back, I get it. It's scary and new and on paper seems like maybe not a great idea but can we all save judgment, true judgment, for when we actually play with these items?

Get excited a little too! Think of all the new and interesting builds and sick plays you'll be able to pull off with some of these items. I can't wait to try stuff out and have fun with the game we all love!

Because ignorant players, who like being ridiculous, with no context to their arguments at all, or any knowledge of any sort.

Like to complain.

What is fun about casting less spells and doing less damage?

Because its the end of immobile champions which I happen to like.

I would get excited but I also remember how badly new items and reworks have turned out in the recent past. Look at Morde's rework or how broken the game currently is.

I could do without the new shit and rather have some actually balance to the stuff that exists.

They exist as ideas.

The problem is mage items should be getting buffed across the board. There is not a single mage item that should not be receiving a buff in some manner. Instead, what we get is a plan that includes nerfs, likely sidegrades, and potential buffs.
