Riot needs to look at their ranking system

The fact that I see high elo players being matched with much lower elos frequently and having my own account start off at bronze 2 after being either silver 2-3 last season, I think Riot really needs to overhaul their rank system. For the past few years I have been noticing this trend of the ranking system making one sided teams much more frequently, some times my team but mostly the other, which makes the game less and less fun to play. I think Riot is at the point of not caring about the quality of their game and focused much more on LCS and money. I know they are a business, but in order for a business to continue they need to make sure their model is sustainable which at this point I don't think it is.

I think if they look at their current rank system and try to make a more balanced mmr than they do now would give me hope that they actually care. However, at this point I'm losing faith in this game and losing my desire to even play it.
