Last season wasn't great, ended I think Silver 3 with my highest being silver 1. I've touched gold but never held it. This season I said I was going to really try, and I did. I just completed my placements and went 9-1, getting an S- or better in nearly every game and consistently topping the charts on CS and damage. I was placed in Bronze 1. I haven't been bronze in 3+ seasons. What the hell kind of system is this? Your placements are broken and extremely upsetting. For someone trying hard to get to gold I'm not really interested in being put so far behind, enough so that I really am thinking that League of Legends is just a huge waste of my time and I should just play something more casual like heroes of the storm. I can't believe I just tried so hard over the last few days and have been practicing 5+ games a day for weeks just for this. I'd love to hear a riot response to this because it's a bit ridiculous and appalling. I think Last season I went 5-5 and still got placed at Silver 4. I don't think I want to play this game any more.

Talk to me Riot, make me believe in this broken game.

So I have also put a large amount of time lately into getting another account to level 30, and then of course the grind on top of that for all the runes and champions I need, including a sizable amount of money. I did this because I wanted another chance at placements in case this account didn't work out. I believe I can repeat 9-1 again or even go a flawless 10 but is it even going to be worth my time to put anything into that account or this game any more? I just can not believe I got placed in Bronze. I just lost so much faith in the design of this game.

I still think it's absolutely retarded. If I go 9-1 I should be placed in gold 5, at least. If I don't belong there I'll drop down. I don't love the fact that I'm expected now to play "50" ranked games to regain my previous ranking. That's just a stupid waste of time. Like my decision to play this game feels. I love League of Legends and had a great time doing my placements but man, I think I just need to put the game down for a while now. It does not feel rewarding.

My 8th placement game was just after my first loss, a tough Trundle game. I got into champion select and a player named HXNT said he's going to troll, unprovoked. Since other players trolled him he was going to troll us and then quit the game forever. He went ghost teleport on anivia and charged into my lane immediately to give first blood to Lee Sin top. The then came back to my lane a few more times and then to other lanes, repeatedly just running out to die and spamming chat with rude remarks. He was 0-10 by 10 minutes in and something like level 3. By the end of the game he was 0-30. Despite it all we won. That's a game that may make me forever love this game, and I just wanted to share it.

Frustratingly I found out after that game that my girlfriend closed my game recording program so I don't have the video for it, very upsetting.
