Kalista used to be the poster girl... spirit... whatever, for the ADC role. Although she was broken upon release she was nerfed periodically making her more and more balanced in terms of damage, while still maintaining popularity due to her ability to carry a game with her play-making. Recently however, Kalista experienced a rather harsh nerf ruining her lane phase dominance with the W nerf and the Rend nerf a couple patches ago and her ability to solo carry as she requires her support to have proper fighting potential. This was fine at the time of the nerf, however extremely soon after came the tank meta which destroyed the ADC role once again as the tanks do more damage than the ADC's whilst never dying. The ADC role is becoming just as useless and boring as it was in season 5 and I would hate to see that happen. Any AD main can confidently say that even before the tank meta with the warlords meta lane phase in bot lane was and still is quite a drag. If tanks are going to be so strong, hopefully we could get back our favorite ADC to compensate. Kalista currently has an all time low win rate of 45.6% and a popularity of only 5% for what used to be the MOST popular ADC.
