Hi summoners, I'm playing 
since 1 year and everytime when I get rooted (with my 2 axes) I can't realize basic attacks. That's frustating since can do the damage to kill the one that roots you, with many other champs like Ashe, Varus, etc. You are able but with draven + axes why not? [draven-pose]

both ashe and varus are using abilities not auto attacks.
Zyniya1 votesRoots make you not able to move I always thought autos still work. I've killed many would-be dives by getting rooted as Xayah but still able to get feather out and root them back.

snars keep you from moving roots keep you from moving and prevent auto attacks.

Nope, roots only stop you from moving. Disarms stop you from using AA's, but don't hinder your movement. Stuns, charms, knock ups and so on block you from doing any of those actions
