Bring Back 1v1's

Can we get a 1v1 mode again? I love doing 1v1's in custom games, but it is really annoying doing these when the game doesn't end immediately after someone gets a kill/tower/100 cs etc. Most of the time, you get into a game and the other player stays in the game the whole time, ultimately wasting around 20 minutes because you can't even queue for another game without reconnecting to the custom game. I feel the community would enjoy this game mode as well...

Can I get some support on this?

They said they didn't like it in a recent Ask Riot segment.

It was too unpopular. So it's not likely to ever come back

9 second queue times.... "modes wildly unpopular"

what they mean to say is... "it detracted solo players from other game modes so we struggled to find games for large groups"

not particularly compatible when were talking a 1v1 Q vs a 5v5 Q. Q time is a poor measure in popularity.

And Personally, they should probably stream line the champion select. While I like Short game modes, the Q time and champion select need to be equally as short. Otherwise, it feels like your spending more time out of game than in it. (Like say, picking a champ and 3 bans before going into Q, and handle it automatically)

but put it this way, even if it was so unpopular, the game mode is already there, it just needs to be re-enabled.

its like taking away dominion, despite seeing play, it was ultimately dumpstered because of bots.

and the only way for an unpopular game mode to see action that fast is to have unfair games, which they weren't. to some degree it was fair. it just leaves the question "why would it be removed"

even if it was as unpopular is they say it was (which it wasn't)

its like i said, it took too many solo players away from other game modes.

When I think about it, that's actually kinda doubtful. That would have to assume that their is numerous people playing in teams.

It's rather incomparable with the aspect of popularity. If it really drew that many players away from other game modes, it wouldn't have been labeled as unpopular. (And I see no reason for Riot to Lie about it)
