Sejuani and Rengar Reworks

Hi all,

I'm not sure if other people out there feel the same as me, but here it goes...

I really dislike the new rework on Sejuani. Her new kit just feels so strange compared to her old kit. I'm not sure if the new rework was suppose to in the long-run buff or nerf Sejuani but in her current state I feel she is weaker now then before her rework. I have been playing Sejuani since Season 2 and she was also my favorite champion to play in league. I am currently level 6 with her and was one S rating away from getting level 7 before her rework, but ever since her rework I feel that the time I put in playing Sejuani is all meaningless now. I do still play Sejuani only since she is my favorite champion because of all the past memories of playing her before her rework, not because I find her fun to play in-game now. I know Sejuani had a boost of popularity after the rework was first released, but I feel this boost was only due to her being over-powered and after the nerfs she received most people stopped playing her, except for the people that have been playing her pre-rework.

About the rework on Rengar is pretty self-explanatory. People use to play Rengar before his rework, now they don't. I can honestly say I have not played with or against a Rengar for quite a while now since his rework and everybody I know that use to play him keeps telling me the same thing, "I just don't like the new Rengar, the old Rengar was better."

I'm not sure why these two champions (Sejuani and Rengar) got reworks in the first place, I felt nothing was wrong with them to begin with. They weren't overpowered or weak in-game. If the goal of these reworks was to make people who truly enjoyed playing these champs in league stop playing them, it seems to be working.

That's it from me. Hopefully if enough people feel the same as me Riot might change Sejuani and Rengar back to their original kit's. It's a long-shot, but who knows I guess.

Thanks for reading.

SolCrushed should issue a public apology for the Sejuani rework

I feel the same way about Rengar. Can't speak for Sejuani since I have never played her myself, but it is really sad not to see Rengo in any of my games anymore. I think he used to be a really cool champion and still is visually, it's just all of the fun was removed from his kit.

Yeah man I feel exactly the same way. Rengar still looks really cool, I felt Rengar had some of the coolest skins in game. Except all the fun in playing Rengar is gone now :(

Sejuani wasn't seeing much play all over since she was not very fun for most people to play and she was an "Ult bot". I like the sejuani rework if you ask me. More CC, better dueling potential, increased skill ceiling, and better early game. I can't say much about rengar since I've never played him.

Just because she isn't seeing much play doesn't mean people aren't enjoying her. Reworks should never be done in an attempt to simply make the champion more popular as when that happens Riot is essentially saying "screw you" to one portion of their player base in hopes that another bigger player base will come and take their place. If they feel some players need a new face to attach to, they should just make a new champion, not delete an existing one.
