I wrote a comment on youtube about turrets not doing enough damage when I'm getting ganked (later levels) and someone replied saying I'm killing too many minions cuz the turret needs to farm as well. Is this really true? I've never heard of this before... lol if you let your turret "farm" too much won't it just take continual damage from minions over time...

Turrets don't scale so the outer turrets become butter later in the game.

Okay, sarcasm, sometimes called verbal irony, works by saying something with the real meaning normally being close to the inversion of that something. In this case, the commenter is saying turrets need farm and kills, but is meaning this in a joking manner because turrets do not gain any advantages from farm or kills, unlike champions. Because this is said with the online equivalent of a straight face, it has much more humor because it looks like the commenter is being completely serious while saying an obvious lie.
