Ekko

I'm so confused… why does he actually exist?

Balance and jokes aside, he is just not fun to play against

I watched as he simultaneously dodged my Cass ult becoming untargetable while healing through the Zed's ult AND dealing 500+ damage. All of this with a cool down of under a minute.

Even before he was fed, I was about to kill him in a 1v1, one more tick of my poison would have finished him and an E was midair, when he ulted back, dodged the E by becoming untargetable, healed through my poison, and took out the rest of my health with his ult.

People can continue to make excuses about his power (counter play, "just watch out for his clone"), but I think its simply silly how much random crap was tacked onto his kit for no apparent reason.

3 slows, a shield, a stun, a heal, untargetable, AoE nukes… the list goes on

I don't mean to be salty… but there is no denying that I really really am

Nothing is more frustrating when I outplay someone and bring them to the brink of death, simply to end up dead without killing anyone simply because my kit was outgunned it pretty much every single way.

And before people complain and point at the fact that I'm a Cass player complaining: I am not incredibly good at League of Legends. At all. But I want to have fun. And playing against Ekko is the opposite of that. Doesn't matter if he's fed or behind as shit, its just painful.

-End of my incredibly salty opinion which I truly hope is taken into account

Yes, he's overpowered, just played ranked in the meanwhile where he is banned every game.

I doubt he'll be fun to play against even when he is balanced though. Assassins are usually jerks. They bully players 1v1 and force you into group work where they're weaker but is generally more confining and constricting on you. And after all that they can easily end up losing a game for their team because of their uselessness in team fights but people play them relentlessly because muh kdr and "I can win 1v1 with 1v1 champ me so pro."

There are 2 things in his kit that they changed since I played him on the pbe

  1. His passive proc used to only slow minions and give a speed buff against champions instead of the slow.
  2. His W, was visible for the full duration to enemies if they had vision of the target location.

I'm, not sure why they changed those two things, but I think he would have been healthier had they not changed those.

Katarina

I love playing against him.

I don't find him OP at all... just "new".

First out the gate are those that try him out. (So they begin to dominate a bit)

Second out the gate are those who play against him. (So they tend to lag a bit behind and get eaten.)

But a few weeks/months down the road when players get more used to him he's just another champ.

Its the same with "almost" all the new champs.

learn how to counter play him crying cause your range advantage didnt kill the melee guy with an out and more healing based on how fast you bursted him down isnt gonna help you. his sheild/ stun has a 2 and a half second set up time that is almost the same amount of time to get from inhbitor tower to the other tower mid when you get your boots he is designed to stun and unload on champions and players that want to root them selves and not look for the time ghost. now ill agree with you on his damage at all points of the game but he is what all assassins have and no body wants to address it do assassins have low damage early or late game none they are strong all the time with large base damages and high scaleings. if you see ekko and watch him basic attack you will see his passive activate ludens ekko his passive is another spell as it activates spell effects
