so since my MMR is bad creating a new account would be better then trying to raise it since im only gaining so little lp right

MMR gains are separate from LP gains. In the time it'd take you to go 1-30, you could have almost certainly played enough games to fix your mmr (assuming it needs fixing).
If your mmr is somewhat below where it should be, you'll win more than 50% of your games without much issue, and hence your mmr will trend up, even if the occasional losses (due to trolls or otherwise) mean your LP remains stagnant in the short term.
honestly having auxiliary accounts is quicker than trying to raise yourself up the ladder. buddy had a smurf and just redid his promo's to go from low silver 5 to silver 1... Honestly smurfs can also just be relaxing up till getting them in ranked. And LP refers to ranked MMR please be specific in the future. Your new account isn't likely going to get to anywhere useful this season.
