I just got done with a Silver 4 game (I have normal silver 4 MMR) and we had a duo of bronze 2 and bronze 4...the other team was all silver, wtf riot?????

That's virtually the same mmr though.

anything under diamond 2 is bronze

That doesn't mean duo q should go though that just means for you got a ducky match up it happens though as the others pointed out there isn't much difference between the two.
