Complaint of a casual League player...
While I do rather enjoy the sleekness of the new queue system, I feel that it is more of a benefit to ranked/draft players than it is to casual players. For example; all wanted to do today was come home, sit down after a long day, and play Illaoi in the top lane. But because of this queue system being the only option I have, I was not able to do this once out of the many games I played. It feels like a lottery unless you're a support or an adc/bot lane player. I have read many similar threads on this topic today and am pleased to see that many other players have the same plight. I play League of Legends for enjoyment. I only play ranked at the beginning of he season, get my ranking, then barely touch it. There is so much stress involved with ranked games that I don't even like to think about it. So yes, I am a causal gamer and I feel as though Riot has forgotten that there are lower skill players out there that like to play for the fun of the game. For the strategy and adrenaline that comes with the playing. I'll give Riot credit though, the new queue system is gorgeous and amazing. I am quite pleased with it from a design standpoint, but taking away teambuilder was a mistake. People may complain about the wait times for a spot with a specific role and champion they want to play, but hey; at least you get it. Not once, since tb has been removed, have I been able to play what I really want. I don't care about long wait times. I just want to play the champion and role I want, damnit! And if that sounds selfish, I dont really care. I want to have fun. And if Riot can't realize that there is a realm outside of ranked, than they will loose a long time player.
