I would like to know weather or not an S rank is judged based on your performance or your teams.

Example: I won a 24:52 minute match as support Thresh on Summoners Rift (blind pick) went 3/0/17 got 8k gold and 19 cs and got a B+. Then lost a 22:31 minute match as support Lux on Summoners Rift (blind pick) went 2/5/5 got 6k gold and 34 cs and got a S-

This is obviously broken and needs to be fixed otherwise people will stop trying with these champs. Can i get some sort of help explaining why or at least told the requirements for an S rank?

Thresh is a very, very popular champion, so the bar to get an S is going to be a lot higher than it is on less common picks. 2/5/5 really shouldn't have been an S though.

Your team performance doesn't matter directly, although objective participation and kill participation are both probably factors in grades (it's definitely not just kda/cs).

All that matters is how your performance compares to all others (regardless of elo) on the same champion in the same role. Theres no absolute numbers required, which is why popular champs at high elo can require insane scores to get good grades on, while meh performances on less popular champs (particularly if their popularity is moreso in lower elos) can still get decent grades.

Like I said though, lots more goes into 'performance' than just kda and cs. Objective participation%, kill participation%, wards placed, wards cleared, and so on are all other factors alongside kda/cs, and theres probably more stuff too.
