Everything counts?

Picture this... You are Lux fightin Annie, and your farm is better and you start loosing because of jg ganks (1/2/0). Then you start loosing focus on farm but you are getting kills and climb up to 5/2 (without DYING). So what I've noticed is that even if she started better and she got kills in other lanes the fact of me not dying seems to give me some kind of "boost" is this real or just my imagination. I know leveling up increases my stats (depending on champ) killing minions, destroying turrets, etc everything gives xp and the more you do the faster you level up. I get all this. The question is..Does not getting killed while leveling up influence your stats? if so, is it permanent or just while you stay "Un-killed"? If not, well... It sure looks like it and it may be just my imagination

Not dying doesn't give you an extra stats. Just the more uptime you have the more xp you can get, and the more gold you get from farming, since you're not missing waves to turret.
