Bronze For Life

I've accepted the fact I will never leave bronze, no matter how big I get myself to carry, my team always finds a way to lose, I can't carry a 13 death top lane and a 15 death mid, just can't. Cant carry a team that refuses to cooperate or listen to ANYTHING. Some things just can't be carried. GG riot. Well Played.

I know you don't want to hear this, but in the end, you are the only person who can carry you out of bronze. Your win rate should be somewhere around 50%, but as long as you play better than bronze level, it's probably somewhat above 50%. You cannot win every game, but you might be able to win 54% of your games (that's what got me to silver 5)

Just stay calm. Only play ranked when you really feel like it, and not because you want a win to make you feel better. Try to reflect on yourself and never blame your team. It's the only way.

The only common factor in your games is you. Bronze mentality is to always blame your team, but rather than do that, focus on yourself, and think about what you could have done better. If it helps, you can start recording your games (plays.tv, replay.gg, etc) and review them to look for mistakes you might have made and how you could have avoided them.

This guy has the right of it. One of the things to take into account is when you are in bronze you should use your lead to help your team. It is very likely that at least one lane has lost, and sometimes horribly so. If you are taking off, it is your job to get a gank or two in down there and help them out. You'd be amazed how much just one successful gank can boost your teammates morale in the face of a shitty game. For example, I win top 70-80% of the time and average 211 cs per game, but my win rate isn't great. It's because I don't gank effectively enough and I fail to capitalize on the lead I generate in-lane.

Also, I'm silver 4 if you wanna friend me, I can help you get out of the bronze bracket.

I would agree but I am a support jungle main.

I had a winrate of 65% and all the sudden it dropped hard after getting so many bad teammates. I tell them not to dive. What do they do? Dive. Tell them to defend. They leave lane open. Tell them to get back. They go in front and die. The only reason I might get out of this is because the promotion series decided to give me a free win for the upcoming one. If you can ward, see five enemies, and your team could see the same thing but they go in 2 v 5, then you have to wonder who really is at fault.

It's true that you have to carry yourself out of bronze. Heck, I have a new player that I been teaching and since we been duoing his MMR is around the same as mine (usually) and op.gg says he should be in silver. Does that mean I deserve to be in bronze? I don't think so and I don't think the game thinks so either. I also have had high elo players say I should be in gold. (Diamond. Plat.) This recent promo series I had the most obnoxious diving team that didn't understand the concept of defending. They also wanted me as a support to defend (which I kinda had to but all it did was delay the loss).

Its tough to play support in ranked and climb quickly. You are just so dependant on your team to utilize the advantage you give them. If they can't cs it don't matter what the hell you do. I feel your pain, in my placement games I won my lane 7 times out of 10 and went 3-7 in W-L. I have had quite a few games where I hit full inventory and we just can't close it out because I run out of steam. So it is definitely fair to say that bad teammates do exist and do cost us games, but there is nothing we can do about that. Just gotta play so damn well that your team has no choice but to hop in the backpack.
