Why don't you research what you're saying before you post it? I bet you haven't even played her on PBE. You're late to the " I want to be the first one to get an upvoted thread about Cass without knowing what's going on party". Stashu said this is a buff. kassadin and cass are the posterchilds of how bad riot is at balancing their own game
New Singed Poison Trail: Reduced damage from 22/34/46/58/70 + .3 AP to 15/25/35/45/55 +.2 AP. Added Bonus: Poison Trail now has a mechanic where enemies that are poisoned have increased damage from his auto attacks.
Kind of ruins his style doesn't it?
Cassiopeia gets tons of buffs on PBE with some nerfs. Nerfs are removed. Buffs are buffed.

Buffs are very slightly nerfed, but still are buffs. Commence rage.
You have obviously not played her on the PBE. Each Q is dealing 350 damage without AP, her E is now powerful at ALL stages of the game (no AP scaling up per level) and her passive now stacks much faster, even if you are behind.
But two of your Q ticks have gone off before you land the E so really you are only increasing a third of the 20% which is a 6.67% increase only
She's been stashu'd. yep, olaf is lookin pretty good right about now.
But guise it's broken OP! Just like the 30% win rate Cass was! Trust me guise, the same goofs who said 30% win rate Cass was broken OP claim this one is OP as well so therefore it must be true!
I think I saw Stashu RiotScruffy say this is not a straight up nerf, because there is now an added poison amplification to her e that didn't exist before this change (Poison deals more damage to those recently hit with twin fangs). Please get all the information before making hate posts on stats that haven't even made it to live yet.
Is anyone even surprised anymore?
Live Cassiopeia playstyle: Pray you aren't against any champion released after 2010 (League of Legends: Gapclosers Edition), hit poison, slam face on E, do no damage before 40 mins.
PBE Cassiopeia playstyle: Still pray you aren't against any champion released after 2010, hit W, slam face on E, hit Q, still do no damage before 40 mins.
This rework still sucks.

I don't mind Cassio getting some buffs but it does need to be reasonable. If you go with Q max first at rank 5 with ~300 AP you are looking at doing 370 damage baseline, which with the Twin Fang amp would be 555 with Twin Fang doing 220, and that is if it is still level 1 and chances are by the time you have 300 AP it won't be. That is roughly 995 for first Q, would vary as some ticks won't get the damage amp buff, and a 2nd Q to follow would add another 555 making it 1545. If we go with a much more realistic example, IE twin fang around level 3-5 you are looking at 270 per cast, if level 3 and 320 if level 5, which would put the combo at around 1650--1750. This is for all of 3 seconds of engagement, with only 1 second of you really being in the "danger zone" IE Twin Fang range.
That is some pretty damn good damage vs the safety and reducing the damage amp to 40% instead of 50% isn't going to suddenly make her worthless, it would make the damage on Q alone be 518 which would bring those total values to 1576--1676, all of this not counting resistances. The sky is not falling so chill people.
They changed it so PBE cass recieved a smaller buff, (20% damage amp from 25%, up from 0% on live), not a nerf.
No. Cassiopeia does not need 'power shifted'. She needs a buff.
