Ranked MMR

Over my last 4 ranked games my team has a stat line of 56/117/76 for a KDA of 1.13~. Over those games I have a stat line of 14/11/17 for a KDA of 2.82~. I am also +64 CS (4 games combined). I know a KDA of 2.82 is not impressive, but it is not bad considering the strength of the opponents. First, why am i consistently being placed on teams that cannot hold lane? I am not asking for a team that will carry me, but teammates who can go even/only slightly behind should be expected. Next, after losing these 4 ranked games I was demoted a division. Do you consider the performance by the player when deciding demotion or is it strictly on a win/loss basis?

I understand your pain. The game does not try to create balanced games, just 50% win/loss ratio using win/loss streaks. You need to play a lot and eventually you are getting closer to your real skill level.

Yeah, it is just frustrating when I am about 3-4 divisions from where I finished last season and just want to get back there. But, trying to 1v9 is difficult. I know it's just a matter of playing the games and eventually you get lucky. Just frustrating.
