I would like to know who would win in a mid lane match of Zilean and Ekko and I would also like explanation since I played a game of this match up I was Zilean and I was facing a Ekko and some how won lane and the game despite having almost no ganks and him have his jg camping my lane

I would think Zilean would win, mostly because he has the ability to zone and deny Ekko in all respects. Basically all things Ekko tries to do are made void by Zilean's insane lane pressure and zoning tools
zilean wins easy since he can push the lane just as fast and just as good as ekko while being extremely safe. even tho none of them will be able to really touch the other, zilean can control ekko in lane and simply mega outscales him in teamfight damage and utility.
its just important to know that if anyone dies during laning phase or even gets traded out of lane, he miserably missplayed it. you should basically always be full hp and not even trying to damage your opponent, this goes for both.
