Urgot as a juggernaut

With the new update coming out I have started to wonder about some of the existing champs that could be slightly modified and adopted into the juggernaut role. My first thought was Urgot. Nerf his aa range a bit and buff his tankiness a bit and I feel like he would fit right in. Please share your thoughts.

it would be nice if people realized that not every champion that is (or can be) somewhat tanky is a juggernaut.

urgot is ranged. hes more like an ad scaling mage than even a fighter. for some reason riot even classified him as marksman even if mage would be more accurate. hes rather unique, so hard to throw him into a certain group.

but juggernauts was only a word they came up with for the 4 reworked champions. because they all have the same things in common. theyre slow melee fighters with high defense and damage.

however, it would be cool if they managed to somehow bring urgot back into bot and mid lane as a caster.

wait what do yo mean by slow? Because slow is not one o the things i would classify Garen or Skarner as. Either way point taken. My point mainly is that he is kind of in a weird spot between ranged caster and tanky, marksman, fighter,.... thing. By the way Urgot is still and has always been one of my favorite champs since i started playing league and i just feel a little more could be done for him. It seems that every time i see someone else play him i see practically the same builds every time like the one above which is an awesome build if i might add. But... essentially what does taht build turn him into? A "slow [ranged] fighter with high defense and damage." He just feels like he would fit better into that group. To me personally, but to each his own I guess.

they have mediocre movement speed buffs. no instant gap closers no flashes built into their kits, no long range engages like a malphite or sion ult.

theyre comparably slow.

30% ms bonus for 1.5 to 3.5 seconds really isnt much with just a silence.

A Juggernaut is "Immobile, Melee Fighter" that usually can carry a game if they can successfully reach the enemy team consistently.

Urgot is ranged.

Go to town, bud.

Explanation: Mana-mura-ana-masa and Iceborn Gauntlet together give you a ton of mana and AP- enough to make Urgot's shield really beefy with this setup, and especially with a well-timed Ult (urgot's ult provides MR and Armor for the lots of you that don't know). This lot of mana also makes the Shock and Awe mana-to-AD on Manamune provide a decent chuck of AD as well. The iceborn sheen effect synergizes with his Q spam and the Sterakks brace. Brace and Cleaver both provide a lot of AD AND beefiness. Maw of Malmortius is just OP.

Every item in this list provides bonus physical damage and tankiness to the Urgod except your Boots choice which will probably be just tank or AS. This item combo also maxes your CDR.

Edit: I use the same masteries page as Nasus and Garen so that last 5% CDR is probably on there. I also have a runepage for Urgot that is 9 armor pen reds and 3 Movespeed quints, flat armor yellows and scaling MR blues.

Yes. This build is awesome. You are Awesome. Though i have one question about sterak's gage.I understand it has a pretty good passive, but Isn't there a more viable option on him for ad boost? Doesn't it just add 25% of base ad and not total? I honestly would just rather get a frozen mallet. Thanks for the comments by the way.

Well I just figured the Base dmg bonus from Sterakk combined with iceborn would have been amazing enough to cover that damage, but I could be wrong. Frozen Mallet's slow does not stack with Iceborn's anymore so thats why I didn't pick it in the match where I used this build first. Sterakk's shield+moar damage can be a life-saver too.

Urgot the Team Tank. All enemies deal 15% reduced damage and have their armor shredded.

Thats actually a pretty cool idea. The lack of manamune is kind of iffy though IMO, but I never thought of putting Runaan on there that is a cool possibility.

Frozen heart is definitely better than Iceborn for protection, but I am concerned with the lack of damage left since there are 2 raw dmg items in this set up.

I will keep trying different things on The Got to see since I am sure my build isnt fullproof.

They should keep his crappy AA range but make Urgot more lethal in closer range. once your in Melee Range he slices at you with his bladed hand instead of shooting at you.

something like

Passively grants bonus Attack Damage against enemy heroes based on how close you are to them. Bonus Damage goes up to +20 / 30 / 40 / 50% of your Base Damage as you get closer to your target, tapering off to 0% at maximum range

The first Juggernaut I can really think of is my main man Olaf. His kit is more "Juggernautish" than the 4 existing ones imo.

Are you asking for atk range of 200. For urgot? Cause that's something every Juggernaut has

...No!

Urgot with Urgot's skills as they are now is not and could not be a Juggernaut.

I believe you mean a Juggurgot
