Becoming a less toxic player in the community

I just have a question. When you get into a game and your entire team is trolling, purposely feeding, or raging, how are you supposed to handle that? When I say raging, it's cause I die twice, not because I'm 0-100, because I can understand that to a certain extent. I understand muting them is an option, but when the entire game is just going to report me, for not wanting to play the game with them, I generally feel inclined to try and reason with someone so I dont end up perma-banned. They always refuse to surrender when I refuse to play into it, but if i play and when I continue doing poorly against a fed team, it just gets worse. I really would not like to get perma-banned. I'm 100% trying to not be a toxic player in the league of legends community. I just seems to me that if I fight back I get angry and become toxic in that regard, but if I ignore it all then I get reported for refusing to play with the troll team and that's also not right of me. I'm just not sure how to handle situations like that without getting upset. Do I just sit in the fountain until the game ends and just not say anything? Also do I just hope riot's automated systems don't just ban me after a certain number of reports. I just feel like it's just so much wasted time thrown away on games I'm not even really playing. Also Reporting for feeding is not actually something I've seen people get banned for. I'm not sure if there's any sort of system set up for that?
