Is Lamb's Respite of Kindred useless?

Kindred

Hi I got very negative experience with Kindred's ultimate ability Lamb Respite. If I used it in the battle as support in defending against an enemy, enemy's lifes are also restored and they killed all from us. If I am using it on hunt in crisis time, it also regenerates the monsters, so it is useless. Only it is good for staying alive for a few sec, which is useless, if enemy team surround You and is also healed. What is the point of this ability? If regeneration is only my team, I will understand, but also enemy and monsters? Have anybody same opinion? I love Kindred, but this power have no sense.

I suppose it is because the effect lasts so long. I can see why this can be very annoying though.

The idea was to be able to take down multiple full HP targets to low health while only sacrificing you and/or your frontline

Lamb's Respite is best when placed so that your opponents put themselves in bad positions in order to be able to use it. For example, when you have low health and they don't and you use it, you have quite a bit of time to lower their health to match yours. From there you either try to finish them off as soon as it ends or have your teammates do it for you as you escape with your Q. Another example is when they have to abandon safety (ie their tower) in order to use it. This of course doesn't work so well if they outnumber you.

Another way to use it is to press alt+R. pressing alt with a button automatically casts the spell on yourself. (Very useful when playing Lulu) If you are low on health, you can get ready to press it just in case. You can prevent a lot of ultimates from finishing you or even your allies off this way: BrandCaitlynDravenEzrealFizzJinxKarthusLuxMissFortuneMorganaNamiTeemoVelkozVladimirXerathZiggsZed There's also a lot more abilities and such it can save you from if you have the reaction time for it.

As for jungle monsters, it's usually not worth using for them. Dragon and Baron it can be useful, since you can place it outside of their reach. All the rest generally aren't worth ulting. As for when you are in enemy territory, you should probably just abandon it if you're noticed by someone you can't assassinate or if you worry more enemies are coming. (Which you generally should be unless you can see everyone on the map)

If I'm alone, I like using it as an escape. I'll try to delay as long as I can and drop it against a wall I can jump over. Fight the enemy during the duration for harass and leap the wall to make my getaway. It's more valuable in comps that have knockbacks. Absolutely BRUTAL if you have a Gragas on your team, as the enemies will pile into it and you can ult them out.
