How am I supposed counter Yasuo mobility?

Yasuo can dash through creeps. A lot. Every wave allows him to dash in and out for free trade 3 times. So, when I'm reading about this or watching better players on Youtube, they always say the same thing - Yasuo has no mobility outside of your creep waves, so just never fight him when there are your creeps in lane. OK. So I have to stay back and wait for Yasuo to use his dash on all of my creeps or for them to die. But the thing is, I'm not the one who gets to decide when will he use his dashes or when will my minions die. If I do this, good Yasuo will never let me run out of creeps - next wave will aproach lane before previous one dies. So how am I supposed to use his lack of mobility outside creep waves if he's the one to decide my creeps fate? And pls don't say things like "just pick XYZ and shit on him". I'm not asking for counterpicks, I'm asking for counterplay.

step away from your minion wave, or pay attention to which minions he already dashed across.

yasuos e has a cooldown per unit. once he dashed over a specific unit, he cant dash over it again for several seconds.

That seems to work only if Yasuo is dumb enough to spam dashes for no reason. If I do this vs good Yasuo player, he will never use his dash so I can never go in and farm or do anything safely.

He has no mobility when he has nothing to dash to. Step away from creeps in times where you feel that you can't deal with his dashes.

You CAN kill your own minions: by shoving the wave into the tower.

If your minions are at his tower, dying, he can't dash any farther than his tower. Shove it in, then back up to place some deep wards. If you already have wards and you know where the enemy jungler is, you can stay to harass him under tower, forcing an early back or giving you a health advantage for the next wave.

As a mage, your AoE damage and range gives you much more wave control than Yasuo. You can easily shove him in or let him push (hint: he MUST push to charge his abilities) for your jungler to gank and you can easily CS under tower.

Shove the lane hard against Yasuo.

He gets stuck at his turret, can't move much can't farm as much. His clear is bad

It does mean there's some bad picks, but a lot of good ones.

If he dashes in for a trade in the earlier levels stay in and trade back on him, even with his high base AD he's going to have your minions all hitting him as well, works especially well if you have sustain.

That was what I thought should happen. But he seems to win early trades vs most champions despite minions attacking him.

point and click cc helps

only play anivia and master her or teemo if you want yasuos life to be hell.... or use point and click attacks like malz or veigar e (delay or a trap tactic). if your anyone else vs a one of those one trickers either have a jg camp you or just choose the next broken champ or just afk at fountain orrrrr you can hold out till later game where teamfights happen. honestly sometimes theres nothing you can do in lane against one trickers like akali or yasuo or irelia. in the cases of a one trick it always seems their combat stats are more inflated than the "bad ones" for some reason.
