Riot please make that you can message oponents that you honor (just enemies) so they know why they got honored like so they remember a funny part of the game or so you can just express hot GUT he was :D
and that under the msg is the match history link and add the guy as friend or so :) PLAS

(Besides the benefit of earning an honour is moot sadly, anyway. How many honours are actually given out? How many players have you noticed that actually have the honour award? Players get rewarded for being toxic by knowing that 95% of all players are not reported in games - allowing them to continue their self-rewarding behaviour of blaming others and feeling better in self-knowing that they were not the ones responsible for the loss.)

I mean if you really want to message someone just do it during the game or in the end game lobby, or send a friend request?
You can say in the end-game lobby "Hey, good job. I like you." If they leave the lobby right away then maybe they don't want to be bothered anyway.

How is sending them a message in the lobby or game or after a friend request different from sending them a message in an honor? I mean honor is anonymous.... If you're going to type the message anyway can't you just type it in the lobby? And then send them the honor also? It's like the same number of button presses?
I mean I can understand wanting to send a private message so nobody in the lobby gets jealous, or something. You can still just send them a friend request, give them the message, then unfriend them or something? Yeah I know that's complicated.
