So I Leave This Game For a Week (What happened to Cass?)
So, I see a ton of these Cassiopeia post and how she needs a buff or change. My question is, why now? Did she get a nerf? Please help :(

It has to do with her rework that happened back over a year ago now. The rework in essence ruined her poison mage gameplay and made her basically a twin fang spam bot that scaled really hard into late game. Preseason however has made getting to late game extremely difficult though and only further exaggerated Cass' glaring weaknesses (lack of impact early and need to farm).
Just about 1 year since she was ruined. Riot makes a big post on their site talking about how Fiora's more recent work will get some attention over the visuals when still nothing about Cass Riot says they probably won't get to Cass til the middle of next year.
Tends to go in cycles.
People who played Cass before try her again, don't like the playstyle, come to the forums, get ignored, and go back to not playing her.
But she's in rough shape right now.

she was stronger before her rework, she is a weak version of ori more . you never see her buffs really are not going to change her style , qw eeq . it bugs me i was able to do very very good as her and now i cant do anything with her
Riot recently said that they're going to rework her again with more community input and now the Cass mains are making a bunch of noise again as if Riot weren't aware Cass needs more work.
