Is Yasuo really op?

I've been playing yas for a bit now and i cant decide wether he is op compared to other champions take fizz, shaco and ekko for example, i think they are all more powerful than him. Anyways what do u guys think?

If he gets going well, then yes. He has stupid insane mobility, double crit, an annoying shield, knock up wind tornado and a wind wall, and not to mention free armor pen on his ult that can shred tanks armor. He's so annoying I just wish he was deleted.

From what I have been able to see he does well against skill shot style champions in mid or those with low hp considering his high burst potential. But against tanks or those who use mostly instantaneous skills such as xerath he seems to get zoned out super hard or just unable to do enough damage.

No, Yasuo is not OP. His late game is stronger than all three of theirs save maybe Ekko's, but he's such a little bitch early on that it makes up for it.

I dont like yasuo, he is either amazing or useless. if he is on your team he will become a feeding buffet for the enemy jungler cause of his pushing. and if he is on the enemy team he will be annoying as fuck. and even if he is 0-10 windwall is stupid ability that win team fights.

His kit has come to the point where it is so awkward to play him. He supposed to be a fighter, but he is now played as an assassin. His laning phase is always aggressive, but he has no early game power to get into the late game. His shield is ok... not really. Really it is just, get your shiv and IE and ult 3-4 people in the backline of the enemy team bursting and doing as much damage as possible and dying in the process.

he's a hypercarry, sure, but he's not op

the only thing op about him is that he counters marksman and mages, or at least the vast majority of them

thresh, for instance as an ADC build, can pierce his wind wall and one-shot him

Overpowered? Probably not.

Extremely annoying to play against? Very, very much YES.

Mostly his issues are that he has really binary matchups (incredibly strong vs ranged, mana-using projectile casters, but very weak against tanky mêlée champions with CC.) He also has really annoying amounts of mobility. Nothing as annoying as trying to gank him when he's overextended, only to have him repeatedly dashes back and forth through his minion wave while you chase after him (even though you usually catch him eventually.)

Fizz isn't really played right now, Ekko's getting nerfed and was just rekeased, and Yasuo is mid tier. He can carry games, but he can also feed out his ass. Or just do normal. Like any other champion.

He's not OP.

He is op vs ranged, useless vs other melees who can manfight him. Most fighters can pop Yasuo around lvl 3. Some can kill him even lvl 1 - Darius, Xin, Riven, Voli, Trynda, Olaf.

I should point out that, like Tryndamere, Yasuo has a pretty fucking strong level 2 all in.

I was playing Darius top against a Yasuo once, and his level 2 all in very nearly killed me. I survived though. I came back to lane and beat his ass. But I did learn that, if nothing else, you have to respect Yasuo's early damage, even if you counter him in lane.
