League and Fun.
So, I'm not the best league player, and I haven't even been playing that long. I managed to crawl my way up to Silver IV. But I remember when I first started playing, each game was a new experience, and there was always an element of fun, even if I was losing. But recently I noticed that when I play, its no longer about playing for the sake of playing. When I play, I can't do certain things for fear of the punishment of a bad game. For instance; If I were to Q a Kassadin with Ahri, I would instantly be Ulted by Kassadin and hammered. And even if I do manage to survive, I'd lose over half my health, and thanks to Kassadins Q, hes basically untouched. Now I'm not talking about these champions specifically, I'm talking about the general idea. You're left hot and upset because you cant even fight back, and of course there are your team members who in my opinion are the last people I want to upset, and I'm forced to sit under tower and hope he doesn't get enough ahead to just tower dive me. Any actions I do try to take are severely punished. It's like all League is about anymore is moves, and counter moves. Mistakes and reactions. I'm forced out of the game and the last thing I'm experiencing is fun. I'm not screaming for a global nerf or anything, I just want people to consider this.
We play games to have fun don't we? And if so, Are we?
